little more going into the afternoon but this morning temperatures are coming in right around 66 degrees in annapolis and 64 in church villain -- churchville. we are seasonable but we have more humidity and i will talk about that and when things heat up coming up. but let's check of the abc2 timesaver traffic with lauren cook. good morning how are the roads. >> reporter: we are dealing with breaking news out of south baltimore. one person has been injured in the house fire and it continues to shut down jack street between 9th and soth street. -- 10th street. use jeffrey street as an alternate. no word on the person's condition but we will bring you the latest as it becomes available. on 895 you want to watch out for the major construction that will begin tomorrow. expect heavy delays in the area. you want to stick with the fort mchenry or key bridge as an alternate. but this morning, no delays to talk about in the area. that's not the case on the west side of the beltway. a look at liberty road traffic starting to pick up in the area. you are looking a at 14-minute ride on the outer loop from 795

down towards 95. that will be the same case on the beltway and parkville. here's what it looks like at harford road. pretty slow as you make the drive up towards loch raven boulevard and inner loop moving toward 95 and congestion continues on the northeast corridor of 95. expect a slow ride from route 43 down towards the harbor tunnel throughway. that's a look at your abc2 timesaver traffic now over to you. we have breaking news out of new jersey. take a look at this. this is the 6 alarm warehouse fire that caught on fire in a camden new jersey metal manufacturing plant. it started before 11 devoured the building and forced 75 people to evacuate. fire crews say a gun -- it got under control around 3 this morning and fire officials were concerned about hydrogen tanks inside warehouse. there's no cause or injury. the story lauren told you about out of south baltimore. this is where one person has been injured in a house fire. it broke out around 6 this

morning on jack street near 9th street. person has been taken to the university of maryland medical center. no word on their condition. and the cause of the fire remains under investigation. news time 6:48a court ruling in maryland named pit bulls as dangerous dogs making landlords and other people liable for any injury by a pit on the property. today a hearing will review the ruling and sherrie johnson is here with a preview. >> reporter: well, in a few hours, a task force will meet in annapolis for the first time to study the case targeting pit bulls. many animal advocate groups will be there. a maryland appellate court decision in april named pit bulls as dangerous dogs. this makes landlords and other people liable for any injury by a pit bull on the property. animal lovers and those who advocate pit bulls ban plan to attend in annapolis a big question the task force will have to face is how do you tell if the dog is part pit bull?

at least one group supports the ruling dog bite.org filed a brief advocating stricter and tight pit bull laws and say the breed is dangerous and that tv programs make pit bulls easily identifiable. the hearing starts at 10 this morning in annapolis. sherrie johnson, abc2 news. a texas prisoner is in montgomery county aduesed-- accused of a 2003 sexual assault. evidence collected at the rape scene matched the dna taken from david martinez who was in custody in texas. police say the sexual assault involved a silver spring woman attacked after parking her car and walking to her home. tomorrow the man charged in the death of phylicia barns will be arraigned. michael johnson was arrested in april. he is barnes' sister ex- boyfriend. barnes disappeared while visit baltimore in december of 2010. her body was found in the susquehanna river several months later. the attorney representing the family of a 17-year-old who

died after a baltimore county police officer chased him down is talking about how he's building the case. the attorney russell neverdone says there may be a history of domestic violence with officer james laboard. last wednesday, he reportedly chased down 17-year-old christopher brown who witnesses say was close but not part of a group of kids who were knocking on doors and throwing rocks. brown died from the asphyxiation and his death ruled a homicide. >> it's kind of right in your face. this is just pure unadult rated rage that is there and that's out of control and it is so much so this it resulted in the senseless take of a life of another person. >> county investigators say that it may take weeks to get answers into sherman if the officer will be charged. funeral and viewing arrange mense have -- arrangements have been set. head to abc2news.com. r.c. owens died. the the wide receiver leaping ability named him the name
