the heat, the smell of fresh fruits veggies and other items were at towson's market. >> we are here for the 33rd annual towson farmers market. >> reporter: with those words they officially opened the towson farmers market. >> broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage. >> reporter: with weather more like august than that of june, folks came out to buy what's hot and what's not. this being only the second day of summer, the extreme heat became a concern for food vendors. >> we bring extra ice to keep everything extra cold and we have a thermometer to make sure everything is on temperature. >> it's all good and we're out here enjoying the farmers market. >> and the farmers.

we're dealing with the scorching temperatures here but heavy rains are causing major problems in the midwest. flash flooding turned streets in rivers in northeastern minnesota. duluth remains under a state of

dundalk beautiful weather visually. boy, when you step out in it, it's a different story. our view of the key bridge, a hot and hazy one. bay bridge, everything is smooth and operational. take a look to the west. we have storms to report. this is our sort of prefrontal cluster of storms that could, could impact parts of western maryland later tonight toward hagerstown. i think most of us will stay relatively dry through the first half of tomorrow. it's later tomorrow that we look for storms to come in. that will mark cooler air arriving, which will be welcome, even 90 in ocean city. dew point numbers, when you get to 70, that's when you have oppressive readings. so while that is still very humid, it's not quite as

excessive as it could be. i'm trying to point out one silver lining. 99 cambridge. 104 in georgetown. that's hot and sticky. storms to the west, not a player for us. however, to points further west we see our frontal boundary pushing across the midwest. this line of storms set to trek further east, pushing our heat bubble out to sea. this has been our culprit, big huge heat bubble with nothing to force it to move. we've gotten hotter and hotter as the sun beats down -- the long sunlight, heating it up more and more. now our frontal boundary marching in. that would steadily push the heat bubble out to sea and allow us to return more seasonable

temperatures. baltimore new york, 90, 94. that's where we should end up. cooler air by early next week. our trend shows that line pushing. could see a pop-up shower after 1:00 or 2:00. better chance tomorrow evening. we'll be tracking them at abc2. tropical storm chris, but never a threat to the coast. 75 a real steam bath. steam bath city. tomorrow 93, not quite as hot. tomorrow night down to 70, watching for afternoon and evening storms. here's that cooler relief we were talk -- talking about. as we look into the middle part of next week we have one day in the upper 70s toward wednesday. no upper 70s on the map right now. for more on the man who seems to be the mass tar of the numbers, let's head out to mike masco.

responded with his most detailed criticism. >> for two years this president had huge majorities in the house and senate. he did nothing to advance a permanent fix for our brokered immigration system, nothing. >> reporter: he has a long way to go. 66% favor president obama compared to 24% to romney. so with a lot on the line, romney offered insight into how he would handle the president's policy change. >> i would put in place my own long-term solution that would super seed the president's temporary measure. >> reporter: it could include a path to legal residency for those who serve in the military. he argued that comprehensive immigration reform would help boost. it tomorrow is the president's
