fireworks celebration. look at this. yeah. that's a fireworks stand. a fireworks tent. >> oh, no. >> exploding outside of shorty's place, a bar and grill in chester, west virginia. the whole thing went up. some sort of accident went down. all the fireworks lit. this thing lasted a half hour from 10:00 p.m. to 10:30 these fireworks were going off. >> the people on the road, did they roll down their windows, just enjoy the show? >> actually, yeah. the guy who shot this, david mchenry, he was taking his girlfriend out for the night. on the way out they saw the workers setting up the stand. on the way home they saw this. >> the fireworks stand was set up today. >> people on the road seemed to be concerned about shorty's place. >> that ain't shorties, is it? >> no, it's a fireworks stand in front of it. >> geez, thank god. >> whew.

>> fortunately nobody got hurt. one fire work did hit a police car. >> that hit that car. >> after this police investigated the accident. turns out the guy who was running the fireworks stand may be in some hot water over some illegal fireworks. >> holy [ bleep ]. >> i can't imagine the worker. how did this happen -- >> i guess it goes like this. think we're done setting up. i have an awesome surprise video for you guys. the sailor you see on the left-hand side of your screen is ellis. he's bravely serving our country as a sailor. and has not been home since july of 2011. >> geez. >> the woman on the right in the green shirt is ellis' grandma, joyce.

it's her 76th birthday party. and she, in this moment, is posing for a picture with her two great grand kids. watch what happens. i thought it would be fun to talk to these two, ellis and joyce. so "right this minute" from asheville, alabama, they are joining us via skype. ellis, how did you set all this up? >> they were having her birthbay party a bay or two after i got here. i naturally thought make it a surprise. >> how were you able to slip in undetected? >> we bought her a bird house. my nieces and nephew took her around the back to hang it up. meanwhile my dad texted me to let me know she was in the backyard. >> joyce, did you suspect anything? >> not anything. they said ellis wouldn't be able

>> got to love grilling. >> when you're grilling with charcoal, what's the hardest part? >> getting the temperature just right. it's messy. >> sometimes it's a pain to light it. >> a company in estonia created the grill krcube. >> just light the box, you're ready to grill in ten minutes. >> they're saying this is an eco-friendly way to grill because it has no flammable chemicals. it has lighter fluid in it. you light the cardboard. by the time the cardboard is completely burned, your coals are ready. >> grill cube, the easier way to grill. >> it's a good idea. you don't have to mess with the big bags. it does impede a bit on the grill master's manhood. part of it is getting the grill going, saying, you know, i got the perfect grill here. it's a matter of pride. >> but maybe you can have these for back up. >> or you just use this, like when no one is looking.
