measures the amount of moisture coming down considerably in york. now down to 61. so we will talk lower humidity and going for 87 later today. another check on the forecast coming up in less than 10. lauren cook has a check on traffic. how we doing. >> reporter: well, we are dealing with several accidents across the region. trouble out in frederick where an accident is blocking two eastbound lanes of interstate 70. that's at woodbine road. you can stick with route 1 # 4 as an alternate. more problems in howard county where the traffic lights are out. there's an accident in baltimore city in canton on highland avenue at eastern avenue and heading out to 95, here's what it looks like in white marsh. everything up to speed at route 43 but we are dealing with an accident up in harford county along the southbound lanes at little gun powder falls bridge. 695 in overly at bel air road, everything up to speed. a nice easy ride up towards 83. that's the abc2 timesaver traffic. now over to you.

>> 5:31. today two of the three fire companies cut from the mayor's budget will officially close. linda so is standing by with how one of them will be staying open at least for now. linda. >> reporter: the fire chief decided to keep truck 10 in west baltimore running for another three months. it will stay open at least until october. the president of the fire union hopes that will give city leaders more time to find a way to save truck 10 but the same can't be said for two other companies. truck 15 in east baltimore and squad 11 on the city's south side will be shut down permanently. the crews will be reassigned to other firehouses. fire chief jim clack says companying the company will prevent the rotating firehouse closures going on the past two years. all three companies were slated to close on july 1st but the city kept them open to respond to the storms that hit our area last week. linda so, abc2 news. 5:32. today investigators will continue to look into the cause of a fire that killed a woman in her annapolis home.

sherrie johnson is here with more on what fire investigators will be looking for today. >> reporter: investigators are trying to figure out the cause of the fire. the victim has not been identified but investigators say she was in her mid-50s. neighbors say she lived alone after her husband died. the 911 call came in about 10 sunday morning on a newport avenue in the arundel on the bay community. firefighters say the fire was so intense with flames shooting through the roof for 40 minutes, once inside, crews found the woman's body in her upstairs bedroom. a dog that is strained trained to sniff out fumes was brought in. >> looking at it was terrifying. i couldn't imagine somebody being in there. >> it felt like she was not out of the house by now, she is not going to get out. >> reporter: investigators say there were smoke alarms in the home. they are not sure if they were working at the time of the fire. again, investigators don't have a cause for the fire and they

have not ruled out arson. sherrie johnson, abc2 news. county police are continuing to look for suspects in the deadly shooting that happened in parkville on darlington drive around 2 on sunday morning. police say they received a call of gunshots and when they arrived they found a man shot in the street and was pronounced dead at the scene. 5:34. as a parent, there are a number of things you fear that could happen to your child, but finding a python attached tower baby is not one of them. one-year-old william was attacked by a 2 foot python at his home in illinois. devon says around 11 monday night, he heard his son stirring so he felt around the crib. >> i felt it, it was slimy and i knew it was not normal. i immediately turned the light on and saw the snake and a python wrapped around his foot constricting it and trying to eat his foot. >> the dad pulled the snake off using a blanked and william was taken to the hospital and

treated for minor injuries. the snake came in from an adjacent apartment that they as you understand they have moved. >> i can understand that. authorities say a trail of potatoe chips from a subway near pittsburgh led them to a burglary suspect. police say 21-year-old benjamin broke a glass door and tried to on the cash register. when he couldn't get the cash, police say he left with 9 bags of potatoe chips. officers say they actually followed the trail of chips and it led it to him. he had a bloody hand and foot. and he is being held on $30,000 bond. he was in the film and television industry for more than 7 decades. >> and now we look back on the life of a legacy. we will look back on the career of ernest borgnine. >> a concert announced the lineup where you can catch farm aid 2012. >> good morning. i am mike masco on interactive

now "good morning maryland." this morning fans are remembering the life of ernest borgnine. he won his oscar for playing a love sick butcher in the movie marty. he was perhaps best phone for his recurring role on mchale's navy. he was in more than 100 film and tv shows including roles from here to eternity and most recently he was the voice of mermaid man on spongebob square pants. dead at 95. the annual farm aid benefit concert is coming close by. hershey pennsylvania. the group aims to help farms and family on the land and increase awareness of the challenges they face.

now "good morning maryland." >> 5:43. three boys have been found on maryland's eastern shore and authorities found their bodies on sunday after their families searched for them through in fe sherrie johnson joins with us more. >> reporter: this morning a community in fed ralsburg is mourning -- federalsburg is mourning the loss of three boys. emergency crews recovered the bodies from a creek. a 8-year-old and two 12 year old boys were seen around 5 p.m. on saturday playing basketball at achurch. one mother realized her son was missing when she came home from work at 11 p.m. on saturday and she called police. authorities say the boys appeared to have accidentally drowned. one mother says she doesn't know why her stepson would go into the creek since he was terrified of water. >>i can't believe that because he is afraid of water. >> it's a tragedy.

we will go towards the north and west. heaviest downpour of rain north of mount airy. this will run into 70. be aware of that and rainfall rates have been registered between a inch and two inches of rain. good downpours coming done across the area. we have a flash flood warning that was in effect for frederick. that has been discontinued but certainly could see localized floodint from the bands of rain a rain cooled 73. hagerstown 75 degrees. york at 73. wilmington at 79 but we are noticing the dew points dropping an indication of a northerly wind and the drying wind coming into play. and look at wilmington 59 degree dew points that's pleasant. compared to the 71 in town right now. so again all the rain running just along the maryland pennsylvania border and this is going to shift offshore today. leaving with it clouds and lower humidity. that northerly wind punching in and that's going to allow for a cooler drier airflow. in fact 77 in dc right now. you go north and look at

was hit in the head and the police officer hit in the back. another reporter went to the hospital and -- hospital and he was not seriously hurt. pretty heart stopping video of a rescue in china. firefighters rescued a 7-year- old boy from a tower crane which was higher than 98 feet in the air. look at this. the boy climbed up the crane when plap praying with other kids in the -- when playing with other kids in the neighborhood. firefighters arrived and the boy was too scared to come down andrescuers fastened a safety rope on the boy and kept talking with him to calm him down. it took 20 minutes to get him to the ground. look at this. here's a guy who gives nic wallenedda a run for his money. he survives after falling 600 -- 675 feet in the air from a tightrope. he walked on the rope blindfolded with no harness. >> oh. >> can you believe that? look at that. i can't believe -- mike is
