today. here are the areas that could be affected. we are talking about work pes to the north, 195, 895, west of cherry hill. they will check problems with the water main in southwest baltimore. since even's water is connected, even people in the countys are asked to pay attention to the wa use. >> beginning this week, we will begin testing water systems adjustments, redirecting flows, lasting for proximately 48 hours. the this is to ensure we can provide adequate supply water for our customers when we begin repairs. we are calling on citizens to conserve water. >> reporter: conserving water, ways to do that, avoid watering your garden or using water outside for any reasons today. if you have to run the laundry or your dish washer, you are asked to do that in the early morning hours or late at night.

curly and shots are going through the court proceedings for they ledged rolls in the sex abuse scandal involving sandusky. they are accused of failing sandusky to the authorities. despite the controversy, penn state had a record setting year in donations. penn state earned almost $210 million in alumni donations. a spokesperson for the college says the number sends a loud and distinct message that's been going through a tough time for the school. people are talking about the sighting of a great white shark off the coast of cape cod. this morning, hear from the man who maybe got too close for comfort. 100 rides taking over a boutique today. this event is not about snatching up the new dresses. everything is up to speed on 69 a harford.

church in delaware. the boys drowned while swimming in the marshy hope creek. they've been identified as a 12 year old, 11 year old and a 6 year old. the boys community is asking for donations to pay for the funerals. the funeral home the taking collections. news around the nation, rain from the cold front has moved along the eastern u.s. causing problems across north carolina. five inches of rain fell in greensboro. this is monday night. take a look at this, flash flooding, stranding drivers on roadways around the city as many as 30 cars were forced to be abandoned along a major interstate. this video, see how bad that flooding turned, these cars covering to the roofs. rescue rues broke out rafts to make sure no one was inside the cars.

seizure but unable to attend because he was suffering from the flu. a story across the country, passengers aboard a spirit airlines flight are getting a full refund but that's probably not enough to get them through what they endured. angry passengers after a 14- hour lay over in texas. a passenger was being unruly. >> even was miserable. >> passengers were shuttled to another airport, many missed cruises, which the airline says they won't compensate them for, they were flying from los angeles to fort lauderdale. they landed in houston, houston didn't fly to fort lauderdale. >> miserable. >> misery.

>> let's talk about something more happy. let's go to the weather. we are looking at the satellite and radar. clouds this morning , the wet weather to the south of us right now. this is courtesy of a stationary front that's going to wobble back and forth throughout the day. it will bring us the chance for a few showers. moisture, still up there a bit. dew points 66 degrees. 64 hagerstown. 67 york and dc, 70 and 72 salisbury. the closer you get to the stationary front, that's where you are feeling the humidity. as you step out the door, you are going to feel on the humid side. temperatures coming in at 69 baltimore. 77 dc and 70 york. 73 hagerstown. a little bit of fog in some areas this morning. be careful as you head out and about. this is the weather pattern for today. we have the stalled out front and again it could wobble to the north, stay to the south.

with it so close to us, not ruling out a chance of a thunderstorm to pop up through the morning and the afternoon. you can see most of the convection or thunderstorm activity is where the front is. we can see around towards the west there, wch wf, virginia, maybe a shower or storm in to the afternoon. that could make its way in to our area. be cognizant of that throughout the day. more possible in to wednesday and thursday. we should stay dry on those days. temperatures will begin to bump up. for today, 86 degrees, we should be at 88 for this time of the year. more seasonable, we will take that, no complaints. we will look at the seven-day forecast, things looking better if you like temperatures in the 80s, we will see that as we head in to thursday and friday. the warmer temperatures will move in here as we head in to next week. we could be seeing a heat wave on tap. let's get a check of the abc 2 time saver traffic with loren
