grand prix race hits the streets again. a news conference featuring racing's biggest stars and sherrie johnson is here with a preview. >> soon we will hear the roar of engines in the baltimore grand prix race, today a news conference featuring driving stars of the race. the general manager of the race, tim mayer will be on hands for the event talking about ticket sales, sponsorship and market initiatives. ray and washington dc native, mimmer, will be on hand to discuss the race. the city terminated previous contracts with two other race organizers, baltimore racing development, which failed to pay $1.5 million owed to the city and down force racing which missed deadlines for the event. the news conference will be held at the sports legends museum in baltimore, starts at 11:45. the race will be held on labor day weekend.

sherrie johnson, abc2 news. heart breaking story. coming out of chicago. 62-year-old father of 12, was trying to safe up money to buy a suit for his son's wedding. he was beaten to death. according to family , the crime was posted on line. >> they punched him in the face. they punched him. he fell unconscious on the ground. when he fell on the ground, his head bounced off of the ground. >> his father was left for dead until a passer by found him hours later bleeding and unconscious, he died at the hospital. authorities have arrested three teenagers and charged them with first degree murder in this attack. they are expected to appear in court today. there is an effort to ban watching porn on tv in hotel rooms. a christian and muslim scholar written letter to bosses of the

supervisor, their conditions have been upgraded to stable condition. they are looking for a man who owns a car. police say 35-year-old sam approached the nail and hair care spa on richards valley road and saw a man waiting for his girlfriend and they started fighting. he shot him and went inside and shot his former girlfriend and fled the scene. she has an active protective order against the father of her two children. he is charged with two counts of first degree attempted murder, reckless endangerment and multiple gun charges. police are offering a $2500 reward for information leading to an arrest. new this morning, a harford county deputy has unexpected time off after he is accused of shoplifting from the wal-mart. pennsylvania state police
