in city after city the scene was the same, agents with blacks of evidence. > thousands of pounds of product. we think we will have large sums of money. >> reporter: the dea raided targets across the country including in baltimore after a raid at this san diego business one man said he was always a bit suspicious. >> you come around and the big guy with the coat and goggles on in the parking lot. it's -- of course it makes you think. something not normal. >> reporter: the dea said the designer drugs can be found at smoke shops, even convenience stores and gas stations, often hidden and we spotted them while shopping last year as part of an investigation. >> sold in real looking packaging, these substances are marketed to teens and to young adults with benign and catchy titles. >> reporter: the drugs can cause extreme paranoia and violence, even death and we have told you some of the

was hurt in the crash. just a mess. a different kind of spill on i-270, an overturned beer truck spilled suddens on the highway and backed up traffic. maryland police say it hit debris and hit into a guardrail before it overturned. the cause is being investigated. the man who clocked himself going 186 miles an hour down a canada highway is in jail. randy scott turned himself in. he posted a video online showing his bike hitting close to 190 miles an hour weaving in and out of traffic. tips from the public helped identity him. he faces up to five-years in jail. and now we have the very latest on the ongoing jackson family saga. michael jackson's mother is at home tonight with her grandchildren but what happened to her these past few days and what is next? brandy hicks sorts it out. >> i'm devastated that while i

clay waller threaten to kill his estranged wife. the son confronted him and they were eventually arrested. a scary day for these folks in las vegas. thehe window washers outside the hotel, equipment got stuck on the 35th floor stranding them. crews used ropes to go down -- to get them into hearnesses, good news, everybody made it down slowly, safely and unharmed. take a look, a massive, 250- pound crocodile in south miami. the clock wasn't to happy to see police and they weren't happy to see him. officers called in professional trappers, they caught the croc and sent him to a safe location, faraway from humans. this is an 87-year-old tradition. the pony swim. about 140 wild horses swam the

east coast now. it's a widespread hot, humid pattern for the east coast of the united states. trends showing, not much in the way of showers or storms tonight but the action flairs up again tomorrow afternoon. on a scattered basis with that front going around very possible we will see more showers and storms at least on a scattered basis, saturday afternoon. overnight tonight. 78 with a few storms, a real steamer out there and i think most of the storm action likely toward the north part of the state. the state line. tomorrow 95, more heat and humidity. afternoon storms a good bet. some could go into tomorrow evening and here is the seven day forecast. weekend remains fairly unchanged. we think another very hot sticky day tomorrow with a little bit a break behind that boundary should mean a more seasonable weekend. temperatures near 90 but much of the day in the 80's on saturdays, sunday and monday. some improvement kelley.

aren't confined to the midwest. going across the country and hitting your grocery store. now the government is weighing in, telling you how much more you can expect to pay on monday food items. here is allison with more. >> reporter: the drought has already pushed up food prices but the u.s.d.a. said the trend will continue. the government expects overall prices to rise 3 to 4% next year. that's more than inflation. it all comes the price of corn that is close to a record high. this means products made from corn will cost more too. things like ketchup and noadls could cost another 4.5%. it doesn't stop there. animals eat corn sot price of meat is also rising. beef prizes are expected to rise the most, jumping as much as 5%. the u.s.d.a. said you will notice its increase in poultry because they are smaller, grow faster and get to market faster. they are expected to grow three to 4% and markets may not be
