the jogger found the man tuesday morning along patapsco road. detectives are awaiting results of the autopsy from the medical examiner's office. the baltimore city police officer and a dog, today the officer was honored. >> you can't take your eyes off the picture. look at his tongue. it's the officer and his dog. unbelievable story. weave a done stories about police and pitbulls before, but they don't usually have a happy ending. officer dan was called out for a report on a vicious dosmght he called out to the dog. the dog came running right over with his tail between his legs. he has since adopted the dog who he has renamed bo.

some of the busiest travel times of the year. over the past 24 hours, hundreds of airline passengers had to deal with some strange and scary situations on at least three different flights. abc2's t.j. thj -- t.j. winick has more. >> reporter: the jet had been in the hair for two hours when officials got an emergency call. >> i got to get him in here. >> reporter: the plane, escorted by two fighter jets requested an emergency landing after a land in noticed a camera inside an air sickness bag. the camera turned out to be harmless but terrorists have been searching for new ways to get devices past screeners. police believe the man behind

t.j. winick, abc2 news, new york. the trial of drew peterson continues in illinois. the defense attorneys accused the prosecution of intentionally bring evidence before the jury that the court had already excluded. peterson's attorneys are asking for a mistreel saying that -- mistrial saying that savio's death was an accident. we're covered, smothered in bel air. take a look at the shot right around 9:00, 10:00 this morning. a lot of clouds. clouds for much of the afternoon. a few peeks of sunshine and the clouds coming back into play right now. kent island, that comments your temperatures down into the

middle and upper 80s for the daytime highs. that's below average. outshot showing a one passing shower, now pretty nice a pretty shot. sunshine has come out. that aloyed for our temperatures to get back up to 85 degrees. 90 in frederick and a pair of eights. rain cooled 70s over parts of dover and salisbury. so in terms of where we stand, we bring the maps up. when we get the dew points around 70, that makes it feel muggy, sticky. this could also allow for storms to fire up. a pretty clear sweep from bel air toward glen burnie. we have a few of the storms trying to test the limits but they're falling aapartment we'll go through phases where they will pulse up and pulse down. this one cell that we have been

headlining showing some lightning but not much. this will run into woodsboro, so just be aware. there could be a rumble or two of thunder but the storms are not testing severe limits. you're seeing a clearing right now. that's a defining line over the eastern shore. the planner will take you through 8:00, just a few storms headlining north and west of town. at 11:00, 76. we go down to 73 and back up into the 90s. it's a sticky feel tomorrow. the oppressive humidity comes back into play. you can see the humidity back over the carolinas. this stationary front separates the real sticky hair to the tolerable humidity. then there's a storm out to the west that we'll keep an eye on. in terms of temperatures, not bad. 85, 87 down the spine of the appalachians. how about the heat. 109, 102 in parts of arkansas.

we'll stay to the south and west. we'll see a few 90s. it's an unsettled pattern. we could be dodging storms both saturday and sunday. speaking of storms, how about the tropics start took heat up. tropical depression number five is over the central part of the atlantic. pressure is 1008. so not expecting rapid intensification. there's a tremendous amount of shear coming up off of south america. that will inhibit development. the forecast for the rest of the overnight 69. early storms, just a muggy feel. tomorrow two-degree guarantee in the city. a few select spots along the bay and out toward the eastern shore, maybe a shade below that. the seven-day forecast shows not a bad day. there is a very, very small
