police released surveillance video of the suspect, which was take an at the wal-mart on ordinance road in glen burnie. detectives believe is same man is responsible for robbing multiple people at multiple atms. victims were robbed at gun point during the evening hours. another robbery occurred this past week. so far police are not saying whether it is related to the other crimes. chick-fil-a supporters had appreciation day for the fast

nation, all the humidity allowing for big storms to develop. speaking of a big storm, something that is starting to intensify and ernesto to the south. if you have interest towards the east of florida, let's talk about this system in main weather. they are supposed to be out patrolling the street but annapolis police are spending less time doing that because of the false alarm calls they are getting from homes and businesses. they will try to tackle the problem. >> reporter: tens of thousands of people live in annapolis and more come to annapolis to shop and vacation. all of them rely on annapolis police for security and handle emergencies. police get strapped when they are chasing down false alarms, at businesses and homes, that's why the police are taking action to fight the problem. it's a big waste of resources. >> reporter: one false alarm ties up multiple people at the same time. >> not just for the officers

responding but by our dispatchers to take the phone calls. >> reporter: not only does the dispatcher has to handle the alarm company calls and send two police officers to check it out. a security check could tie them up for a half hour or more to verify the alarm is real or the alarm went off by mistake. starting september 1st for example you have false alarms, you could be fined. >> we don't want to fine anybody, we want the problems to be corrected to cut down. >> police are hoping the fine will be an incentive for a homeowner or business owner to correct the problem. >> upwards of 90% of the alarms we respond to, turn out to be false. >> i was unaware that 90%. >> reporter: he is a business owner downtown, and has his security system checked once a year. he sees that it's everyone's responsibility to not make the police work more difficult than it needs to be. >> it's incumbent upon all of us citizens and business owners

a law enforcement officer found marijuana plants during a fly over. 631 plants were recovered.
