traffic with lauren cook. >> reporter: traffic is picking up. if you are headed to downtown baltimore, repairs continue on the water main break. light street is shut down between lombard and baltimore streets. using the jfx to get into the city, no problems to tell you about from the beltway downtown to east fayette street. but we have two disabled cars out on 695. one is on the inner loop at charles street and the other on the outer loop at bw parkway. here's what the west side looks like at liberty road. traffic starting to pick up on that outer loop. that continues down towards route 40 at the inner loop that will be nice and clear up towards 83 and this is the 5 the -- 95 the south synd congestion developing -- south side congestion developing at the north connector. we could know the name of the man responsible for a deadly shooting at a sikh temple in wisconsin. police believe he opened fire with a 9 millimeter

million mark and face -- in facebookfans should have begin a 50% discount on some fares. but, a computer glitch caused the customers to be charged multiple times and in some cases 20 or more times. southwest says it's going to repay customers for the glitch and they are going to cover all overdraft fees and additional charges. previous generations of retireees got better deals in social security mainly because payroll tacks were very low when -- taxes were very low when social security was enacted. people retiring today will be the first generation of workers who paid more into social security taxes during the careers than they will receive in benefits after they retire. it's a shift that will only get worse as retireees get older and older. wisconsin -- a wisconsin town is coming to grips at a shooting at a temple. how they are hoping to bring everyone together in this time of tragedy.

6:43. good morning i am charley crowson. time for abc2 news to go. we begin with a check of your morning forecast with lynette charles. >> it's monday and i hope everyone made it through the weekend safely. we had severe weather yesterday. maryland's most powerful radar is nice and dry. one lone shower pushed off into delaware to the north of dover. that's good news. but, as we go into the afternoon, i am not going to rule out a chance for a shower or storm to pop up in the forecast. ijamsville look good. we have the sun cloud mix

information. >> reporter: we have learned authorities determined this fire was arson. someone intentionally set the fire at the denny's restaurant in harford county. and this is new video of the fire at denny. the fire started in the men's bathroom friday morning in the1300 block of edgewood road and spread to the attic and the roofquickly a customer discovered the fire. 75 firefighters respond to the scene. it took 45 minutes to put it out. none of the customers were injured but one employee and a firefighter went to the hospital for medical treatment and were later released. look at this video here. police say this man is a person of interest. the photo is a little blurry but they want to speak to the man in the orange shirt. and police basically are saying that troopers and crime scene experts from technicians from bel air are assisting with the investigation. if you have information ons this case, call -- on this

nelson mandela. the national aquarium in baltimore turns 31 this week. the birthday is wednesday but it's week long celebration. today anyone born in august can get in the aquarium for free. there will be cake available in the harbor market kitchen -- kitchen. and the man famous for the saying no soup for you on seinfeld will yell that in baltimore streets. the seinfeld food truck will be in the inner harbor between noon and two and you will have a chance to meet the actor who played the soup nazi on the show seinfeld. it's fair to say michael phelps had a good run in the pool. and now a golden olympian ishanging up the goggles. he ended the final run with a gold in the 4 by 100 medley relay. that was this weekend. his career includes 22 medals and 18 of them gold. now he is looking forward to routines that don't include weightlifting or early wakeup calls. >> that's one thing i will not miss.

you know, jumping in a cold pool in the morning is the worst thing about the sport. >> he says he is spending more time working on his foundation helping inspiring young swimmers and wants to travel the world. check this out, a man was arrested for throwing a plastic bottle on track before the 100 meter race the one bolt won. prior to the going off of the race you see the man throwing the bottle right here. watch. you see it. it's purple arm throwing that bottle out. it's a plastic bottle thrown on the racetrack. dutch athlete was the bronze medalist in judo and saw this and helped police track the guy down. none of the racers were distracted by the bottle coming out. but the man was arrested and he was taken away from the olympic games. also video coming out of kansas. you can see lightning lighting up the sky over wichita. no reports of damage but it's a spectacular light show. lynette, we like seeing these,

still forecasted to stay a tropical storm before it makes landfall across the yucatan peninsula and then reenters the gulf of mexico just for a minute or so. and then it heads back into mexico. so, it will miss the lower 48 and that's what we like to see. right now there are tropical storm warnings for honduras as this makes its way just north of the coast as it goes through the evening. we look at what's going on for today and future trend not picking up on a lot. we had a few showers this morning. those have now tapered off and moved off toward the east. and we should stay dry for the most part especially as we go into tomorrow and maybe even wednesday. thiss the forecast for today. hour by hour forecast brings us at 58 by lunchtime. and -- 85 by lunchtime. 87 by 4 p.m. not going to rule an isolated chance as long as we are in the warm sergeantor. but for your -- sector. but for the seven-day forecast the humidity moves in and sunday 85 and 86 on saturday and that's where we should be this time of the year.
