with a -- >> flaming tennis ball. >> get ready for game, set, match stick. >> like a water fall of flames. i'll show you two videos out of china that will make you gasp. the first one, watch the motorcyclist and his passenger. there's a car about to make a right turn and watch what happens. >> oh, man! >> he just kept going too. >> and here's the incredible thing that happened next. you will see a bunch of people swarming around this car. and what they did was take everything they could out of the car so they could lift the car off of the man and his passenger. and here's the thing, the man survived this because he was taken away by stretcher to be taken to the hospital. >> the car wasn't even going fast at all. it was going relatively slow as it made that right and the guy in the car just kept going and ran that person completely over. >> now, in this next video a

classic case of a child being left home alone and getting into a little bit of trouble. this little girl is 4 years old and look where she's dangling from. she's dangling by the neck from this balcony crate-type thing outside the window of her home. she was left alone and somebody heard her cries and was standing on a ladder to hold her up. >> so those are security bars over the apartment window that she fell through? >> yes. basically you can see there's an area big enough for her body to fit through but her head got caught. >> well, that's a good thing, otherwise she would have fallen completely to the ground. you can see the guy holding her legs up. >> quick thinking by the guys that were around to get there and hold her feet up to take pressure off her neck. >> she was taken to the hospital but doctors say all she had was a scrape on her face. i have some of the most intense dash cam footage we've seen on this show.
4:33 pm
this is a police chase in post falls, idaho, that includes officers from two different agencies. that's why we have the two different dash cam views. the guy that they're chasing is 33-year-old justin earl nicholas todd. named the fugitive of the week by the violent crime task force. so these guys are in hot pursuit. at this moment in the video you think, okay, this chase is about to be over. they have got this guy. did you see that? >> yeah, they spun him out, little pit maneuver. >> they spin todd's car out but keep watching. we realize he's got a female passenger in the car with him. if you notice her face, she looks terrified. >> she wants out. she's trying to get out. >> he backs up into a ditch. this officer pursues him. but todd keeps going. we've got one officer out of the car going after him with his gun drawn but todd gets away. at this point they have got a

plan. they decide one of the officers is going to try to cut this guy off in the neighborhood. they give the address like he's got no way out. >> dead end. >> it's a cul-de-sac. >> the dash cam footage changes and we see dash cam footage for one of the cars and watch what comes up. security home footage from a home on the cul-de-sac. he's trapped. now he's got three officers coming into the cul-de-sac. he tries to get away, but watch what happens. >> oh, my gosh! >> the cop ends up almost on the hood of the car, but then you hear his gun. [ gunshots ] >> you've got to figure that's what he had to do. this guy tried to run him over. >> and that's the woman, the passenger. she did escape from the car. toxicology tests showed that he did have meth in his system at the time of this incident. there's an update on this case. a lawsuit was just filed on behalf of this suspect's son suing the city for $3 million because of this incident.
4:35 pm
>> good luck with that. the suspect clearly went after the officer with a deadly weapon, the car, and tried to run him down. that gives the officers every right to defend themselves. nothing beats a good old-fashioned citizen's arrest. check out this video. this is the new york city subway, canal street station. this guy allegedly punched a guy and stole his iphone and tried to run off. he's trying to go through the turnstiles there, right? they're kind of like jabars. these two other peopl and hold them and basically trap him in this little -- tiny little jail cell. >> it's a makeshift jail cell. >> he should have stolen the other guy's jacket because he doesn't have a shirt on. >> walking around the subway shirtless, you probably gain a little extra attention. people would be like what's up with the crazy guy. that's what happened. this guy stole somebody's phone allegedly and ran off. but here's what stinks, the guy

was actually slippery. maybe he lubed himself up with butter before this because he was able to like wiggle his way through the door here and actually he got away. >> you know, this is brilliant, what a great way to catch somebody because i've been through those things before. >> good for these two guys to step in and try to hold this guy. >> at least they got a good look at his face. you know you're driving down the highway and you see the signs over the overpass that says height, 13.5 feet or whatever it may be. it's telling you the limits of the height of what you can go under that bridge. >> yeah. >> apparently the guy driving that big white truck with that giant crane sticking up did not check before he got on the highway. the roads were very wet and there's a motorcyclist just behind. >> no, no! that's all kinds of bad. >> pow! >> oh! >> oh, my gosh. >> you see the motorcyclist get

up. you watch again, he was not hit by the crane nor was he hit by the car following behind. very lucky. that's what it looks like when you forget your height restriction. >> it's like when you leave your drink on your roof and drive off. except this was a really big drink. >> i think the motorcyclist knew what was about to happen because you see his brake lights come on before the truck hits. watch. >> does the person in the car with the dash cam, do they say anything? do they notice what's about to happen? >> you'd think they'd be look at this, look at this. >> what kind of voice was that, was that grover? >> look at this, look at this! >> what was that? >> a russian accent. >> kind of like a muppet. >> sounded like a muppet at the beginning of a muppet song. look at this, look at this. >> russian dash cam. >> accident happen. a hospitalized young girl
