baltimore county right in essex. it's blocking one westbound lane of route 150. right at wilshire road. and unfortunately, there are more problems to tell you about. there's a crash on 695 it's going to be right on the inner loop at the key bridge. and as we check in and take a live look here at brokenning highway you'll notice not causing any serious delays but do expect some congestion again this morning traveling across the key bridge. drive temenos delays on the outer loop from 95 up to 83. you are looking at a 12 minute ride. and traffic over on the west side picking up but still very steady. you're looking at a 13 minute ride overall on the outer loop from 795 down towards 95. and 95 will be nice and clear if you are traveling that northeast corridor this morning. from the beltway all the way down to the fort mchenry tunnel. you're looking at an eight minute ride. charlie over to you. it's going to be a busy next few days in annapolis. lawmakers now heading back to the state capitol for the beginning of a special session and abc2 news linda so is live this morning in federal hill

with a look at what is on that agenda. and linda the list is long. >> reporter: well, the first thing that they're going to get to is all about the future of gambling in maryland. lawmakers decide whether to allow a sixth casino at national harbor in prince george's county. they'll also consider whether to allow table games at all of the sites in maryland. if the measure passes, voters will have the final say in a november referendum and lawmakers will consider whether to give current casino operators a tax break to make up for the impact of adding a sixth casino. the cordish company is aagainst allowing a sixth casino. they say the bill is unfair to current operators who have already invested millions of dollars to build their site. it's unclear if the measure has enough support to make it through. delegate ron george who heads the anne arundel county delegation is not even sure if everyone is going to show up. >> i know that there's two anne

arundel county people and vary expensive vacations they planned together with their families. the larger family. and they're going to go ahead and go on vacation. >> reporter: now, right now it's unclear just how long this special session will last. it could be anywhere from three days up to a week. we're live in federal hill, linda so, abc2 news. and we've learned this morning that the gaming debate in annapolis could have an impact on same sex marriage and that referendum going to vote in november. more than half of marylanders support same sex marriage but pollsters in the state just say having the gaming on the ballot could help opponents defeat the same sex marriage measure. >> there could be a swing of anywhere from 2 to 4 points based on the casinos being on the ballot and anytime you're dealing with a 50/50 proposition, a point or two can make the difference between passing and not passing. >> the love that we share for each other. we want to be acknowledged and recognized because we want to join the ranks of those that are married that will in

jersey resident pedro hernandez in the boy's suspected killing. he disappeared while walking to a school bus stop on may 25th, 1979. hernandez confessed to the murder telling authorities that he lured at to the basement on the corner store where he once worked and strangled the boy. police say new information prompted the search but wont se lob rate on what -- elaborate on what that was. fail? he walked into a mcdonald's and headed straight for one of the cash registers in indiana. whoa, whoa. yeah. changes his mind. and then of course changes his order and instead he grabs an arm full of yogurt parfaits and only worth about $5. >> if you're going get the charge for breaking in you might as well get something out of it. we've seen a little bit of everything and this is one -- it's a crime. but it was still kind of amusing for the officers that were involved. >> it was a good idea at the time. all right, now watching that

surveillance video one of the officers he recognized the man. and then they looked outside and saw him walking still covered in shards of glass from the attempted robbery. the man was immediately arrested. more proof that truth is sometimes stranger than fiction. 6-year-old isaac began experiencing sinus problems when he was just 3 years old. the look on his face check this out. his parents took him to several doctors before finding the real problem. a lego tire had been stuck in the child's nose for a number of years. specialists removed that tire from the kid's nose and isaac's parents say since the lego was removed his condition has immediately improved. he can now finally sleep soundly. well, for those of us who can't be in london supporting the athletes personally we're finding our ways for support can doing so right here at home. the fun and fashionable way many are now showing their team spirit while connecting with their respective country at the olympics.

just a few minutes before 6:00. and a sheriff's deputy in utah got a rather strange call. he had to rescue a moose after its antlers became stuck in the chains of a backyard swingset. this was no easy task. that moose thrashed its head around as you would expect even becoming more entangled. the deputy used bolt cutters and eventually freed the animal. the moose trotted away and then collapsed from exhaustion. it is expected though to be okay. well, a new jersey borough now missing key members of its local government. why chris christie has to step
