new tonight police say that the remains found in a wooded area behind a shopping center belong to a woman whose death has been ruled a home received police haven't identified the woman but this is what they say, white female between 18 and 20 with brown hair. her head was found monday and the rest of her was found in a few hours. the woman suffered trauma to her upper body. police are asking anyone with information about her death to call the number on the screen. a woman is dead after a head on crash last night. baltimore county police say the crash happened just after nine when a 44-year-old man ran his

truck pulling a wood chipper off the received the southbound lane and struck rocks. tragically it happened as he approached a blind curve. >> his vehicle crossed back over falls road into the northbound lane. the victim, was traveling northbound in her victim and was struck. she was pronounced dead on scene. >> police say the driver has not been cited and the crash is still under investigation. this man is in jail accused of breaking in to 17 businesses. the 45-year-old david cooper was arrested on monday. while investigating a burglary at the county fair ground on july 19th police found a cell phone. they were able to identity a suspect and later in the week they robbed a snowball stand called the ice shack. he was caught on video. police were able to get family to identity him.

life after a 9-year-old died of a rare infection. health officials believe he got it after swimming in the still water lake two weeks ago. he passed away on tuesday. >> just terrible to see -- just terrible to see how quick someone go from being happy little boy to dead. it's not fair. >> reporter: it lives in warm freshwaters. > >> it's a very rare one. it's a natural one. just -- because he swam in the lake it doesn't mean you will die. >> reporter: until results come back from water samples the beach will stay closed. the only other case of this was back in 2010 in minnesota when a 7-year-old died after swimming in the same lake. >> first happened twice in the

baltimore and western baltimore. the hot weather has returned. 90's on much of the map. it's steaming with the heat plus humidity in to the upper 90s. yeah, starting to look like more traditional early august weather. very hoto and humid. storms will continue to be a threat tonight and tomorrow. we look for more storm action. you can seat swirl in the atmosphere toward the tennessee valley. that gets in storms in the area. through the overnight as well. two different boundaries, one off shore, shifting south with that area of low pressure, it adds up to more storm chances around here as we continue to stay in the humid sector of the atmosphere. the best chances into tomorrow afternoon. especially into tomorrow. we could see storms in to early

. tonight's health alert doctors are warning that you should not be cleaning out the inside of our ears with a cotton swab or anything else. people usually probe to remove wax but it's usually soft and should fall out on its own. sticking anything into your ear will just push the wax further in and make it compact which can cause hearing issues. you could also rupture the ear drum. if you feel to much wax is in there schedule a trip to the doctor, don't try to move it yourself. we love it, it's a movie theater staple but that popcorn could be hurting your health.
