laurel in the columbia area and also, some pretty intense lightning here on the i-70 and i-40 corridors, headed west out of town. you will get a downpour. this is a marginal, severe thunderstorm. more of a -- i would say garden variety storm. any storm can be on the dangerous side, especially with that lightning, loquats the lightening in western marry hand. this is a big time storm. rist of the evening will stay in the 90's. you can seat clouds turn -- to the stormy side in ellicott and getting the storm through the area. the radar. out in western maryland. a lot of heat.

we will continue to see a thunderstorm pattern through tomorrow night and lingering lingering. 98 annapolis, 98 steamy or 99 in cambridge. the pattern is active across the state. it gets more active in to the day tomorrow. more scattered showers, some could be strong to severe. air of low pressure in. we have a frontal boundary to the north. a focusing point for storms, another front off shore. lots of humidity and moisture in the air. it all adds up to thunderstorms ahead, tonight, tomorrow and tomorrow night. trend shows the best chance for a new intense line will be tomorrow evening, storms lasting in to tomorrow night and perhaps some storms on the scattered basis through early saturday evening.
