seven-day forecast. court documents now describe in detail accusations against county executive john leopold. carla handler is claiming discrimination, sexual harassment and other charges. a lot of details in the documents. >> reporter: this is a glimpse of what we may see unfold. handler said leopold treated women differently than men. and that leopold made questionable comments during the interview process. she said quote if you were single i would ask you out because you seemed like a lot of fun, that the women in the office were referred to as leopold angels until they fell out of favor then they were replaced. leopold was upset about an article in the paper and said

you're not bright. she testified there was a plan to get rid of her. we did contact leopold's office but they did not want to comment. we'll have or tonight at 11:00. we're learning more tonight about a shooting outside of a building in mt. vernon. the shooting was on east chase treat around 4 this morning. two people were shot. police are confirming that one person was killed. officers say the motive may have been robbery. they're not releasing information about a suspect in the case. an update to breaking news we first brought you last night. an officer involved shooting in howard county. police have released the suspect's name, 32-year-old percy holland. it started around midnight tuesday when holland held his girlfriend at gun point in

baltimore city. he escaped and fled to a home in columbia. holland claimed to have a gun that he would use. that's when an howard county officer shot and killed holland. the officer justin baker is now on administrative leave. annapolis arrested a man accused of making threatening phone calls. police said he called the office and made threats to kill employees and himself. he referenced the aurora, colorado shooting and is being held on $60,000 bond. this week's mass shooting in a sikh in wisconsin is still having an impact in maryland where muslims fear they could become targets of such violence. jeff hager has more to protect a mosque there. >> reporter: more people, more prayers and more nightly

constitution -- i've sworn to uphold the constitution. >> reporter: while the mosque reports no incidents since it located a year ago, they want to make sure this doesn't become a target now, especially in light of the mass shooting in wisconsin. >> even this shooting at the sikh temple was done by a white person but the majority of the white people are loving. >> the sheriff has assigned deputies to stay in contact with muslim, jewish, catholic and christian organizations to address any threats. gambling and dangerous dogs, those are the two topics on the table for the lawmakers in annapolis. there's a push to add another casino in pg county. this comes after the estate was asked to cut back on the number

of slot machines. don harrison has more. >> reporter: it is now the house of delegates turns to step up to the plates. this session is a double header. lawmakers are dealing with two separate issues. the main thrust woulden expanding gambling, possibly adding a sixth casino in prince george's county. the other is to draft some legislation concerning responsibility of all dog owners. supporters of expanded gamble in maryland believe it will bring in jobs and revenue. delegate frank turner isn't sure. while they are investigating the new casino, he has in the lost sight how this will affect the existing casinos. >> we can't just force anne arundel and baltimore city to pay a 6% to 7% if they're going

it's really coming down. that's been the story with lots of heavy clouds. mike will have a detailed look coming up in a few minutes or so. summer brake for school children ends in a few weeks. that means daycare is coming to an end. some children have found an oasis in the middle of a hot summer. >> reporter: it's the last day of summer camp at st. vincent de paul. >> what field trip did we go on on the second day of camp? >> reporter: today was also parents day. over 100 kids and their parents are living in homeless shelters or transitional housing. >> if it want for the camps, they would be stuck in shelters and it doesn't give them a chance to hone their skills. >> reporter: funding from the city and county and many

volunteers has allowed st. vincent de paul to offer more than swimming and arts and crafts. there have been field trips to the zoo and dave and busters. >> they take them out every friday to the movies. it's a total blessing. >> reporter: more importantly, they focus on reading, math and social skills. >> most things is to help them with their social skills, the fact they're in a homeless shelter. >> it helps them a lot. >> i'm getting ready to go -- it gives him a brushup. >> i like to read a lot. i like to find out things about different things. >> reporter: in baltimore, to many, the area's homeless remains anonmust. we sometimes turn away from their stares, but this, too, is the face of baltimore's
