about baltimore county's newest speed camera vandalizeed the equipment. jeff hager has the latest. >> with messages like photo hell, thief and vulgar f-bomb spray painted on this case in front of the high school, there is little doubt one of the latest speed cameras in baltimore county, maybe one of the least welcomed. >> i think the destruction of any property is wrong but we hate the speed cameras. >> i think they are definitely only here to make money. that's it. they are not here to slow anybody down. >> ironically while the speeding tickets cost motorists $40 a piece, this camera hasn't produced a single dime. >> this went on line less than two weeks ago. we were in the phase where it was issuing warnings rather than citations our policy in the police department is once a camera goes up , there is a 30 day grace period to get a

referendum on the state's redistricting map. lawyers argue an on lane petition used to gather signatures violate a legal requirement that information must be submit by the signer. caught of appeals has until monday to make the ruling. double shooting last night in northeast baltimore has police worried it may spark more violence. it's connected to a previous shooting in the city. as brian kuebler tells us tonight, the case is being looked at by a brand new homicide task force, aimed at solving the more unusual murders, two are dead, in what police are calling a targeted shooting on ham illtop avenue. it happened at midnight. there is a possibility it is connected to the triple shooting earlier this week in southwest baltimore. this are now murders together from the two shootings and in

fact tbait investigated by a task force. the police commissioner formed the unit comprised of his homicide detectives with the highest clearance rate. they are charged with investigating what police call a unusual homicide in the city of baltimore. these murders from this week along with the mount vernon shooting last week, are all now investigated by this new team. >> what the deputy commissioner has done is taken our very best, very best detectives in the homicide unit with the highest clearance rate, and when there are cases like this, that fall outside of our typical pattern, we will put the detectives on the cases so we can quell the violence swiftly. >> reporter: as far as the double shooting, police have few leads to go on but have one lead and that has them reaching to dc metro police for help. the last two shootings, they have a good lead on the suspect

and more information on the arrest could come today or next week. brian kuebler, abc2 news. to a story we broke on abc2news.com, another doctor with ties to a suspected timonium pill mill has had his license suspended joce sterman has the latest on the case. >> mailed's board of physicians suspended dr. daniel alexander's... saying he ignored red flogs while prescribing to patients at the healthy life clinic, patient whose drove for hundred of miles to get drugs for cash in baltimore town can i. alexander is the fourth practitioner with ties to healthy life to have action taken against his license. the timonium clinic was raided by the feds and local police in may, and operators were arrested and indicted on drug charges. the board says he violated medical standards by
