down on the i beener-- inner loop tords 95 and outer loop up towards toe san and if you are heading to downtown -- towson and if you ling to downtown, the repairs on -- heading to downtown the repairs on light street have been completed. now over to you. new this morning, three people have been taken to the hospital one a child after gunfire range out in west baltimore. it started a little after 11 last night on bloom street. medics took all three victims to the hospital and they are expected to be okay. police not sure what led to that gunfire. also baltimore county police are look for a missing boy. this is 12-year-old rashad foster and he is autistic. this is not a very good picture but it's the best police have to go on. he was seen sunday afternoon near the 3400 block of liberty heights avenue. he is 5 foot 7, weighing about 120 pounds. police tell us that he was last seen wearing a white shirt, green shorts and black

sneakers. call 9 11 right now if you've seen him. a shooting outside a hotel in baltimore county and an 18- year-old is killed. linda so is live this morning at baltimore county police headquarters with the latest and linda, do police have an arrest or suspects in the case? >> reporter: no arrests. this happened early sunday morning and police still do not have a suspect. people at the ramada limited on route 40 in catonsville says a group of 50 people were having a party an it spilled into a fight when someone pulled out a gun. police found 18-year-old kevin gls -- glasgow dead at scene. >> i didn't expect it to be where i am staying. >> around this area maybe towards the city's couple blocks down. >> reporter: the victim kevin glass goe lived a -- glasgow

lived about a mile away. city police say burglary suspects scuffed up one of their own and they shot and killed him. police found the door of a vacant home opened and the man tried to attack them and that's when they opened fire. the officer attacked is reportedly okay. passenger drinking and smoking in the back seat of a taxi cab is dead this morning after that cab caught on fire. the cabdriver says he picked up a man at the largo metro station and drove him to bowie friday afternoon and said the passenger was smoking and drinking and got answeringry over a $34 fare even grabbed him from behind in a headlock. the passenger then doused the back seat with alcohol and lit it on fire. . >> the cabdriver -- he struck him and threw a liquid on him.

>> the cabdriver credits a glass divider he brought. the locks melted and probably trapped the man too drunk to make it out of the burning cab. let's check the weather right now because as we look across the middle of the nation, things dried out there. but you can see where the front has set up that's stalled out. we will have little disturbances riding along this throughout the day. we will see another chance for wet weather into the afternoon. thunderstorms now all the way back towards the gulf coast states and we can see it around the carolinas. biggest moisture pushing away from ocean city as of now. and as we look into maryland that's good news but we have lots of cloud cover around so that's going to help keep the temperatures down as we go through the afternoon. this morning, temperatures in chevy chase around 65 degrees. humidity is at 99% and dew point is at 65. so what we are looking around chevy chase is patchy fog

that's the scenario going through the remainder of the morning. megan. all right. who is he and how did he die is what police want to know about the body of a man that was found in the inner harbor. police got a call between 3:15 and 3:30 on sunday morning about a body being in the water on east pratt street. the divers found the body after searching for 45 minutes. they have right -- all they have is a male between 15 and 20 years old. his body was taken to the medical examiner's office. a new school year is around the corner, one week to be an ex. but before your children head back to class they need the proper supplies and education reporter sherrie johnson hit the stores where teachers and parents alike are out there getting the supplies for the kids and sherrie, they are finding good deals. >> reporter: they did. i am here at the wal-mart store in towson here where i caught with up parents and teachers loading up on supplies for students and they tell me that they found some excellent deals. basically a lot of people were

trying to stay within a budget this year. they had one in mind and tried to stay within it. parents were shopping for everything from pens to pencils and notebooks and lunchboxs and caseons. store managers say sales are very good these days. backpacks are the hot text items flying off the shelf. wal-mart contacted area schools to help with back to school shopping by providing parents with the list of supplies students need for each grade level. >> all the stores are fully stocked with back to school items. so moms can come in and get a wide variety of selections. there's tons of backpacks and composition notebooks and filler paper and everything they are looking for. >> reporter: the national retail foundation sales are actually up this year compared to last year on the amount of money that families spend on back to school supplies. coming up at 5:00 in the 5:00 hour we will hear from parents and what they think about back to school shopping. and in the baltimore area schools start on monday august

well, it happened again and again. two more instance of the elder targeted through a tax scam. pontiac avenue in brooklyn in west baltimore and we talked to the victim who didn't want to appear on camera but the story matches other cases we have told you about. a woman claims to work for the city and she is work for the tax collections office. she demands a cash payment for

a late bill or you face eviction. police put out this sketch of the suspect who has been showing up door to door. >> she helped me out and given me food out the garden and she is the sweetest lady and for someone to target her or the elderly like that shame on you. >> lawsuits say the man threatened to attack people who won't pay him. another case happened on popular grove street in northwest baltimore. that also happened on saturday. time for news around the nation this morning. a man is recovering after being rescued from a concrete hole he was stuck in from the -- for almost 24 hours in los angeles. >> he was walking from friend's house when he got trapped while trying to get his lost shoe. horseback riders heard him yelling for help and he was stuck in the hole for almost a day. all of this in sweltering heat. he suffered only minor injuries. the coast guard and local dive teams are searching for a missing person after a boat hit rock and flipped. the incident happened off the waters of connecticut coat
