hello, it's time for another right this minute and the best ideos first. a terrifying rescue after a woman and two kids are nearly swept down a river. she screamed for help for more than an hour. >> oh. >> hear who finally answered her

desperate cries for help. imagine what that mom is going through for an hour. a mom sneaks up on a clerk with a ten-inch knife. >> "rambo" style knife. >> the clerk goes "rambo." >> good goly, it's a big one. >> we are talking waterspouts. not everyone is impressed. >> look at it. >> mom, i know. >> we're not blind. see wedding performers who put on quite a show. >> he's playing a guitar while mounted on the other side going in circles. >> what could go wrong? >> a case of dizyback. >> so much over the weekend on the lehigh river. this is in coplay river. a woman and her children were out there when the raft popped.

they weren't white water rafting, but became trapped on rocks. she screamed for help for more than an hour. this is around 6:00 p.m. the water's got to be getting cold that time of day, right? a fisherman named jim called her name. the ems were dispatched from the scene and seeing parts of the rescue. the dive and marine units were there. they have lines in the water. one guy is going out in the water and has all three of the people, the mom and two children. >> imagine what that mom is thinking, i'm stuck here with my kids and nobody can hear me. >> you are thinking she's stuck, the river's not that deep why not make it out. she's got two kids with her. she probably had to hang on

where she couldndait forhelp. ntally they pluck them one by one out of the water. all three of them made it to shore safely. no injuries from this rescue, this incident. there's a study about this rescue and a lot of the comments are people saying look, this river is different. it's not a place to go rafting with your children. stay out of the river. they are thankful nobody lost their life. a waterspout appeared over the sound in north carolina. some people caught it on video. the first video i have to share, you can see how big this thing is. >> good golly. >> good golly, it's a big one. >> i think i'd be saying more than good golly. >> yeah. >> it sparked the national weather service to issue a

tornado warning. other people got the video. this one mom, i have to say more humorous when she's talking to her kids about it. look at it! look at it! >> mom, i know. >> we're not blind. >> we can see it. >> so disrespectful to their mothers. did it cause dam? >> there was flooding. >> i think they need to rename these. you have tornadoes, hurricanes and cyclones and a waterspout. >> the ittsy bittsy spider is going to crawl up that thing. >> when they issue a waterspout warning, i'm going to say cool, not run for cover. no one looks at this and doesn't take cover. you look at this and you are not calm. >> it's breaking up. >> it's breaking up. >> oh, the danger is over. is that a dude standing on their roof?

he went out of the store and i pursued him. >> he fired three shots at him. >> that explains it. it's obvious, it goes gun, knife. you don't bring a knife to a gunfight. >> he got away. police released to video to see if somebody will recognize the guy. you can see clear shots of his face. i have a really beautiful organization to tell you guys about. this is in kabul, afghanistan. it's called skateistan. this organization was founded by an australian skateboarder who visited afghanistan in 2007. brought his skateboard and the kids went nuts over it. they have not seen a skateboard. he decided to create an indoor skate park and offer the young people who come education. 40% of the people who come are

remember, right this minute is all new, all summer long. a police officer in florida is out of a job. i think it's safe to see why when you look at this video. it's dashcam from his cruiser in pensacola, florida. it gives us a rush. apparently this woman was pulled over and ignored the officers

request to stay in this vehicle. he goes up, cuffs her, grabs her one arm and slams her into the side. after he slams her the first time, he continues to try to cuff her and slam her head, again, on another part of the car. >> this is a tough call. he's giving her verbal commands, she's not complying. the face slam against the car is tough. >> she looked like she was struggling, but not slammed into a car to get her under control. >> we don't see what happened before the video. we don't see the incidents before the video picks up. from my perspective, he has one arm. she's not trying to assault him and boom, she's slammed up against the car. >> why did he lose his job? >> using excessive force. it's ironic.
