patchy fog to talk about this morning, so pretty much a carbon copy of what we had yesterday. we will get some sunshine in here mixed in with some cloud cover well. the temperatures coming in at 63 degrees, arnold at 63 degrees right now. the winds are calm to light. we do have uv coming in about 100% that's the indication that we're seeing reducevisibility outside. we look at maryland east most powerful radar. not picking up on a whole lot. fog this morning, patchy in spots, dry by lunchtime once again at 85 degrees is high i'm going with. let's check abc2 time saver traffic. >> to bring to your attention,

giving us more information, but the investigation as well. linda. >> you can see a lot more now that the sun is taking a look behind me. you can still see the coal that has stilled along the track. they have been using heavy equipment to pile it up. right behind that pile you can actually see the wheels of the derailed train cars they've been taking that off the track and today investigators will be back out here actually we've been seeing them all morning long taking a closer look at the track trying to figure out what caused this train to derail. we do know that emergency braking system went off at some point during the derailment but it's unclear what set it off. today ntsb investigators will sit down with the school members on board the 80 car train that was carrying coal from west virginia to baltimore. investigators will review video mounted on the front of the train to learn more about what caused the derailment. the tragedy in this all is that two college girls were killed when those train cars

overturned they were sitting on the bridge when they were crushed by the heavy coal. about an hour ago we spoke with worker with federal railroad administration who tells us there are about 4 to 5 cars that they have to remove from there track. they're in the process of removing the train cars that fell off the bridge on to a parking lot below. today again investigators big question that they hope to answer is to know what caused this train to derail. we're live this morning, glenda, abc2. congress aiken -- congress aiken sticking by it. made about rape and abortion. congress aiken went so far to put out a tv ad. republican congressman todd aiken met a withdraw deadline pass. he's under heavy fire says rape rarely lead to pregnancy.

front end loader to push the coal into a pile right over there made a mess of things when that train derailed. all of that coal spilling on to the track. you can see also there was wheels over there, those are the wheels that actually came off of the derailed tracks, again, today they'll be spending most of their time removing the coal trying to clear the tracks. css crews are back on scene in thing the tracks, removing debris. we just saw them bringing a huge truck to remove some of the debris off of the track. but, again, they're using that front end loader there, heavy equipment, to pile all of the coal into a heap. now, we do know that the emergency breaking -- braking system went off at some point but it's unclear what set it off. that's the big question investigators hope to answer. investigators will also review video mounted on the front of the train to learn more about

what caused the derailment, the tragedy in this is that those two college were killed when that train derailed they were sitting on to op that bridge, historic bridge when the train derailed filling -- spilling heavy coal on top of them. you can see back on the scene again this morning they're using sledge hammers to nail back the spice in the tracks. they're removing debris from the track. the goal is to get everything cleared up within the next several days but main street along elegant city remained close this morning. you should call beforehand if you have business down in the area if you have to go to any of the shop, the restaurant. you should call beforehand to make sure they're still open. we're live here abc2 news.
