are making adjustments to this week's national convention in tampa. leaders are choosing to stay home and be with states as the storms target familiar sites. rnc will convene in tampa, standard procedure come convention time. the convention will recess until tuesday for a three day event. some of the speakers, rising stars, they are choosing to stay home and await isaac to make landfall. phil bryant and bobby jindal made announcement sunday falling in line with the alabama governor, bentley and rick scott. governor scott and jindal were scheduled to speak at the convention. that is not going to happen. bobby jindal declared a state of emergency , the storm could hit anywhere from lake charles to new orleans. >> i would recommend to our people, hope and pray for the

baltimore. a lot of changes happening at the school. >> reporter: yes, the students are sure to love it. this is the new building. we have seen custodians and teachers show up. they are turning the lights on in the building. this building has wi-fi, voice over internet and upgraded security and the basics it didn't have before, air- conditioning and windows for natural light. it's not been renovated since 1951, the $28 million project is happening in two parts, the fist part was the completion of the brands new building, the second part is renovating the old building. it will house 1200 students making it one of the largest middle schools in the city. the principal will be joining us and layer this morning at 830 the leaders will be here for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening

a few showers lingering across the eastern shore. hence, the flood warning across talbot county. tropical tracker, tracking tropical storm isaac. winds sustained at 65 miles per hour, moving to the west northwest at 12 miles per hour. the next advisory we will be in as we head in to the 8:00 time frame, going to give you updates then. this will begin to make landfall around the morning time, on wednesday. we are hoping that new orleans is not in this but you can see that path has new orleans in it. as we check out the future trend for today. scattered showers and storms will persist in to the afternoon, that means you need too take the umbrella with you as you head out and about. kids heading back to school, a wet one, more of the same in to tuesday as the cold front gets closer. high pressure will build in nicely in to wednesday, a check of the forecast for you. we will get humid today,
