he believes the president is a citizen of the united states. . the first day of school for howard county public school students. the new superintendent is excited about the school year, and helping students achieve great economic goals. the doctor will visit several schools and ben carden and ken allman. officials anticipate enrollment of 51,000 students in the system's 74 schools, here is what the doctor had to say to students. >> welcome back. it going to be an exciting year. there are new initiatives coming our way as a result of testing and compliance requirements. we have this under control. it's going to be fine. do what you have always done. >> howard county has an increase of 450 students during the the enrollment.
