complete police of the closures just go to abc2news.com. and if you are using the beltway, here's what the west side looks like at baltimore national pike. outer loop really slow from 795 down to route 40 and the congestion will continue in overlea at bel air road. the inner loop nice and clear down to 95 but the outer loop really very congested all the way up to towson. charlie? today george huguely the former lacrosse player who killed his ex-girlfriend yeardley love will learn his punishment and abc2 news linda so is live at notre dame prep where she went to school. that would be yeardley love. linda, how long could huguely go to prison? >> reporter: when he was convicted earlier this year, the jury recommended 26 years. his attorneys are asking for leniency but the judge will have the final say. huguely was convicted of second degree murder and robbery in love's death. just weeks before they were set to graduate from uva, huguely broke through love's bedroom doom, assaulted her and left

schaffer will have live reports from virginia. george zimmerman's now getting a new judge. this, after an appeals court in florida disqualified the original judge on the case. seminole county circuit judge lester was disqualified. he wrote that zimmerman flouted and then tried to manipulate the system. for the florida appeals court they agreed. students at the high school are now working to get lady gaga to come to baltimore. this is 17-year-old victim in the perry hall high school shooting from mondays. a stranger created is facebook page called lady gaga please visit daniel. it has more than 20,000 likes and we have a link to it at our facebook page. you can go there or abc2news.com for a link and you can watch a youtube video to lady gaga created by some of the students from the perry

hall. this week students are going to be back at school many of them may ride the bus or walk and on monday a wood lawn high school student was hit by a car while caulking to class -- walking to class. we're looking out for you this morning and abc2 news' sherrie johnson is live in towson with some tips on what you can do to be street smart. >> reporter: well, good morning charlie. yes, we are here at the intersection of register avenue and york road here in towson. a pretty busy intersection here. tough for you know kids to cross the street. we're not what are from rogers ford elementary school and dunbarton elementary school. many of the walkers cross here at this intersection every day. and it's quite busy. now there are crossing guards here to help. but it can still be pretty dangerous for kids. in 2009, more than 4,000 pedestrians died in traffic crashes. that's according to the national highway traffic safety administration. this morning, we have officer becky soule with the baltimore county police department here
