seems to have misplaced. >> a 5-day-old child. >> see how the frantic search to find theaby leads down a dark and scary road. a guy makes it to the top but -- >> didn't have so much fun coming down. >> how a cliff diver gets more cliff than dive. while a trooper takes a nasty hit. >> oh, wow. >> hear the survival. >> i've been hit by a car. >> we've also got a kid who mocks school dances. >> just started introducing to the opposite sex. >> in the dark. >> and a woman gets her lifelong wish. but not everyone's impressed. >> dare to dream of something other than holding a flock. police in albuquerque, new mexico, released footage from an officer's lapel cam. this story is heartbreaking. >> you hear those cries?

those are the cries from a 5-day-old child. >> apparently calls came in from citizens of albuquerque say they seen a woman who they thought was intoxicated pushing a stroller around town with a 5-day-old baby inside. so the officer locates the woman matching the citizen's description. >> where's the stroller? >> i don't know. >> yes, you do. did you just have a baby? >> this woman insists she has no idea. >> what stroller? >> the stroller you're pushing. >> me? >> it needs help. the baby needs help. it's not about you. the baby needs help. >> the woman continues to deny. so eventually the officer has to let smith go. but this amazing woman, she continues searching for this child. and 45 minutes later finds this 5-day-old infant in the arms of some strangers who had taken the

baby in order to protect it. what you're seeing in this moment is the officer digging through a book bag looking for food, anything for the infant. nothing was inside that book bag. >> wow. >> so did it turn out this woman is the mother of the baby? >> it is assumed this woman was the mother of this child because she was taken into custody and charged with child abuse. >> that's a bold move from strangers. i mean, to go up to somebody and just snatch a baby from them. >> the woman who was charged here shouldn't get this child back if she's going to hand it to strangers. >> i don't think she'll be getting this baby back. >> i hope not. >> the child is currently in foster care. heavy rainfall caused flash floods in the west ban gel region of india. >> a bus? >> that is a bus. it was swept away in the flood

waters as it was trying to cross a flooded bridge. the driver, according to reports, lost control of the bus. and it skidded on the bridge. it looks like a lot of the passengers are standing on top of this bus. and it looks like maybe they're trying to get off on the other end. it's not very clear. but it doesn't matter because look at what happens next? >> oh, no. >> oh, no. >> the waters -- those raging waters, just take the bus with them. apparently there were anywhere from 50 to 70 passengers on this bus. you do see some of these passers by rushing in the direction of the bus. according to reports they were able to help a lot of the passengers into safety, but there are still some people missing. a maryland state trooper is encouraging everybody to follow

the move over law. and when you see this video, you'll understand why. this happened in maryland just near the pennsylvania border. watch what happens. >> oh, wow! >> that is a state trooper giving somebody a ticket. and that big truck hit his trooper car, which had the dash cam running. and then it hit him. >> wow. >> i heard the rumble strip, but just before the vehicle came across -- >> see, look at him. he was able to make his way over to that guardrail. >> i've been hit by a car. >> where he then collapsed. >> i'm so surprised he survived this. i thought you were going to say something completely different. >> i think it just kind of smashed him up against the car he had pulled over. it could have been a lot worse if he got hit by the front of that truck and then sent flying. >> he talks about his injuries to wmgh. >> sometimes i look atd it and it just doesn't seem the light at the end of the tunnel.

i'm able to walk. doing a lot of physical therapy. >> he is undergoing physical therapy for injuries to his shoulder, his back. and he has post-concussion syndrome. >> for me it's almost instinct to move out of the way. >> their jobs are dangerous enough. their lives shouldn't be in jeopardy just pulling someone over for speeding. >> it affects not just the officer or the family, also protection for everyone. summer's wrapping up and of course people have been posting videos of their extreme outdoor adventures all summer long. well, got a couple of mishaps for you. first from lake havasu in arizona. people have fun cliff diving. this guy's pretty high. got to say, didn't have so much fun coming down. >> oh. >> oh.

>> whoa. >> you can clearly see he hits into the side of the cliff. according to the person who posted this on youtube, the guy suffered some broken ribs and bruises and some scrapes, but did survive. after a fall like that you've got to be thankful. >> don't attempt that if you're not an expert. >> the next video we go to a popular hiking spot in yosemite known as half dome. a guy and his brother were hiking the area behind a group of people when according to them somebody in the party fell 150 feet. now, luckily one of these brothers had a cell phone on them. so they were able to call in yosemite search and rescue. so the guy you see with the blood is one of the hikers who fell. he had superficial injuries. ut the person it rwho fell. d she's still in the hospital. you see it was a successful rescue on the mountain. the worst part is you have to get a permit way in advance,

sometimes a year in advance, to go and hike this popular spot. and for it to end like this, total bummer. the guys in the video point out, you know, you've got to hand it to these rescue workers to get there, be able to pull this person off the mountain to safety. >> pretty hard core man. a quiet ride down a country road, right? >> all of a sudden up ahead. >> something's going on. >> see where this ride is headed next. and, mixed drink without lifting a finger may be the perfect bartender. >> you don't have to tip

obvious crosswalk. they stop to wait their turn. and eventually a car does stop to let them cross the street. >> oh. >> whoa. >> one guy was able to jump out of the way completely. >> yeah, but the other guy didn't have a chance. it all happened so quickly. and, yeah, that one pedestrian struck sent him flying on to the grass. >> it seems like an arbitrary crosswalk. i feel like there needs to be some signs or something leading up to this crosswalk to tell people to slow down. >> does that car even apply the brakes? >> looks like at the last minute. this looks like a case of distracted driving. >> this second video we found on live leak. is a very narrow -- >> country road. >> looks like a country road. all of a sudden up ahead. >> something's going on. >> a ton of birds, right. they just take off.
