area. now a check of the time saver traffic with loren cook. as you mentioned the rain is slowing down a little bit up in harford county, bel air, we are dealing with an accident on main street, at homestead street. here is a live look outside, 95, route 543, no delays but the roads are going to be slick. that will be the case in baltimore county. a live look at the harrisburg expressway, knot way, north of the beltway. an 1 minute ride, traveling southbound from 695, all the way downtown to east fayette street. the beltway, no delays from parkville, up towards towson, the west side, that will remain clear. no problems traveling that outer loop from 795, towards 95, you are looking at an 11

minute ride. meagan, over to you. the chicago teachers strike still on after both sides appeared headed to a resolution at the end of last week, now it turns out, mayor rob emmanuel is appealing to ends the strike. activists are supporting the chicago teachers. sherrie johnson is live this morning with what is happening in our area. >> reporter: a group of activists will be coming out here this afternoon, right here at the intersection of cold spring and falls road in front of western high school. basically, they will hit the picket line, after that, they will have a news conference, talking about their show of support for chicago teachers. they want to support teachers defying big business and mayor. they want to show support for folks making sacrifices for students, teachers, workers and communities everywhere. a chicago judge has scheduled a hearing on a possible injunction to end the chicago

teachers strike for wednesday at 10:30 a.m., chicago city attorneys filed a brief saying the strike is illegal by the time a judge hears the case the union may have voted to end the strike. the union is scheduled to meet at 3:00 p.m. >> the fact that they can't be in classs is disappointing to me. that's where they need to b. we are losing ground every day they are not there. >> please go back to work. put our kids in school. >> they need time to go back to the members and think clearly about what this represents. we have gone without pay for fife days. that's an important decision that wasn't made lightly. when they come back they want to do it with a clear conscience. >> reporter: a number of those activists will gather here in front of western high school about 3:30 this afternoon, again to hit the picket line and hold a news conference. sherrie johnson, abc2 news. the suspect in the murder trial of an elderly pikesville

couple, he has been found overdosed at hotel room in oklahoma. when police took in long to the emergency room, there was a hit on his name in the system. this suspect, long, is the victim's grand zonks vaughn and margerie pepper were found dead last week in their home. detectives traveled to oklahoma for the investigation but haven't been able to talk to long because of his current condition. how far would you go to get the prized parking shot? police say an edgewood woman went too far, in a parking rage incident it happened in white marsh. linda so is live this morning, at county police headquarters. >> reporter: she got so angry over the spot, she took matters in to her hands and ended up in jail and faces first and second degree assault and bail set at a million dollars. brandy aims in edgewood got in to a fight with another woman over a parking spot outside the staples store at the avenue in

white marsh. aims got back in to her car, hit the woman and pinned her against another car. that's not all, an innocent bystander became her second tart when aims saw the person trying to get a tag number and take pictures, she drove in to that victim and hit her as well. shoppers can't believe it went that far. >> the farthest i would go is horn how honking and yelling. people are crazy. >> reporter: the second victim was able to give police enough information so they could arrest aims at her home on monday. linda so, abc2 news. sentencing for former penn state football coach, jerry sandusky set for october 9th. according to documents posted on the pennsylvania court's website. the sentencing is expected to take place after a hearing to determine if sandusky is a sexually violent predator.

sandusky was convicted in june of 45 counts of sexually abusing young boys over a 15- year period. he faces more than 400 years in prison. when you think of hoarders you think of cats or a bunch of garbage around the house. one man, what was hiding in his home revealed he is a rich man. he died in his home in nevada, this from a heart attack. when the house was put up for sale, the realtor asked if a neighbor wanted to take a look. some of his belongings outrageous what they uncovered, it was beyond expectation. >> we thought it was ammunition. opened it up and it was rolls of $20 gold pieces. i never seen that much gold in my life or coins that old. >> the gold is worth $7 million. he also had $200 in his bank account. they were stock accounts.

republican presidential effort now is scrambling to exain a video of mitt romney speaking to a closed meeting of wealthy donors. >> reporter: this morning the romney campaign is in crisis mode, scramble ing to explain a secretly recorded tape where romney tells donors, half of all americans see themselves as victims. mother jones, a left leans magazine posted clips of romney talking at a fundraiser in may. mother jones didn't release the full remarks. the candidate says there is a number of americans who will vote for president obama no matter what. >> there are 47% of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. 47% with him, who are -- who believe they are victims and the government has a
