it into work. >> if you made it. >> so should we be adding an extra 30 minutes? let's check in with wyatt everhart. >> we could see some wet roads. no question about that. it will be wet and foggy, so maybe not the best travels through the overnight hours. some showers over the eastern shore. baltimore itself clearing out. that's good news for commuters but in the lower eastern shore extending through southern maryland still some rain in this direction. as we take a look at the bigger perspective, we can see the clouds hanging tough. while most of the rain came through the day, those showers are offshore. but the large storm system is yet to completely move through the area. we'll keep it in the 60s, still some scattered showers, watching for fog to develop. we'll talk about when the whole system moves out and we see a

change in the forecast. that's coming up. here's our big story at 5:00. three women were abducted, two sexually assaulted. police think it may be the same suspect. abc2 news investigator brian kuebler joins us with how this happened. >> reporter: police say they have arrested the two suspects in the case and are looking to pin two sexual assaults on them but fear it could be more. the first two cases started here at the corner of engle side and edmundson in catonsville. two teenagers, one in late september and the other yesterday, abducted from this bus stop, held at gun point and sexually assaulted. >> it's scary you can't stand on a street corner and get a bus. >> reporter: linda manages the

limelight inn across the street from where the two suspects snatched their victims. she keep has close eye on the area and remembers seeing a suspicious car. >> we see a lot of students standing on the corner as well as nurses. >> reporter: it's a bus transfer. >> yes. >> reporter: which may have been the abductor's mo. another abduction near another mta bus stop. police said a woman and man were abducted at gun point. they were able to flee near greenspring but the woman was robbed, then released. the case too similar to the prior two for both jurisdictions to ignore. >> this has been an extensive investigation. >> reporter: it was that cooperation that resulted in the arrest of the two suspects.

the city case yielding a lead. >> baltimore city detectives were able to get a tag. they began to work together investigating themes incidents. they were able to identify the owner of the vehicle used and connect one of the suspects to the owner. >> reporter: pat least one of the -- at least one of the suspects should go before a judge. police want people to see -- there may be others. brian kuebler, abc2 news. although there is no way to garn tee your safety on the street, there are things you can do. you need to always be awar of your surroundings. don't have your head walking down at the phone. keep both hands free. it's a good idea to carry a

whistle or some pepper spray. if a car pulls up right next to you, turn around and walk in the opposite direction. if someone approaches you, look for a lighted window and wave and shout making sure someone is watching you. baltimore county police said a 23-year-old firefighter anthony cottle faces charges that he sexually abused a 14-year-old boy. he said cottle attacked him after his family befriended him. he also saw cottle sexual assault one of his friends. he was also an active member of the landsdown fire department. county police believe there may be other victims and they're asking them to come forward.

we have a college freshman in new york. she was so excited to see her boyfriend that she tweeted out, see you soon. her final tweet was "should have known." she was beaten to death. the boyfriend said he killed her but pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder. >> she would never talk to me about problems. >> the couple met in high school and police are not saying what the possible motive was. every time we hear of a case like that, we think of yeardley love. just go to the one love foundation. visit our website at abc2news.com and check under the featured stories section for a

leverage. continuing coverage of yet another incident of bullying turning violent. a 12-year-old boy was attacked on a school bus while a classmate recorded the whole thing on a cell phone. we have more. >> reporter: the skep -- cell phone is low quality. what's happening on the school bus is clear. >> brother basically on top of me trying to punch my face. >> reporter: 12-year-old parker brockman is the boy battling the beating in the back of this crowded bus. he admits to throwing punches, too, but claims the well thing started with a pair of bully brothers who have since been suspended for the fight. >> making me mad, just won't stop. >> made me sad because i was always picked on as a kid. >> reporter: bus fights aren't common in this district but

statewide, fights in general happen more than 15,000 times at public schools during the 2010 and 11 school year. a 2011 state department of education survey showed among high school students 28% admitted to income one physical fight during the previous 12 months and 7% reported not going to school at all because they feared for their safety. >> for students, kids in particular. talk to an adult. >> reporter: she said the district takes bullying very seriously but can do little to fix it if they don't know about the problem. >> if you know that your child is being bullied at all, let the school know immediately. >> reporter: parker's mom said other parents came forward after the incident to say the boys who bullied her son were known for bullying their kids, too. she said speaking out about the problems may be the best way of

said his whole life has been about animal. he got his first bird at 18. the second one came a few years later. taylor built up a reputation as an animal rescuer. >> people call me and ask can you find a home for my bird, for the animal or my friend has this but not taking care of it. can you talk to them and maybe let you take it. >> reporter: three birds, two snakes and a dog but he had a men nag ri of rescue an animals, turtles, snakes, salt water, fresh water fish, a brown colored raccoon. he wasn't taking care of all 40 of the animals proplerly. >> they were exotic species and

didn't have their basic needs met. >> reporter: they first went to taylor's house back in the summer. he gave up 10 animals then and promised to make changes in the way he cared for them. at the time he acquired more animals and the conditions were just as bad. taylor said he was caring properly for all of his animals. >> it really, really upsets me because if they didn't have the proper food and water, like my personal pets, for example, wouldn't they be unhealthy? wouldn't they be underweight? wouldn't they show signs of neglect. whereas the rescue animals, so, of course, these animals, some are going to be emaciated or some will be -- are not going to be up to the perfect health, but that's how i got them. >> how anne arundel is giving

biggest risk for kids. >> reporter: many household cleaners come in spray bottles. while conducting a national study, researcher laura mckenzie became deeply concerned. between 1990 and 2006, children poisoned by household cleaners dropped 47%, but one exception. >> we saw a decrease. the bad news is spray bottle injuries stayed high. they didn't decrease. >> reporter: spray bottles accounted for 40% of injuries. >> these can be really serious injuries. >> reporter: that didn't sit well with some. so they designed the first spray bottle top with a two trigger system. adult hands are big enough to control both triggers, but as you can see, young kids have a hard time understanding how the bottle works. in the home setting that extra

komen maryland. we want you to think pink all month long. just log on to abc2news.com/think pink. always looking forward to the big 5k in hunt valley. let's take a look at maryland's most powerful radar. now more isolated activity north and east here on the eastern shore, northern delaware, a thunderstorm over smyrna. further south and east a line of showers from easton, through the calvert cliff area. there's still some rain but around the immediate baltimore area the roads are wet. at the moment getting a bit of a lull in the action. live look over baltimore's inner harbor where we have 70 degrees. humidity almost 100%. that, plus very light winds will be a recipe for fog through the overnight hours, expecting to see patchy dense fog into your

early morning. so watch out for that. show you downpours, tough to see the key bridge high atop ccbc on the east side of baltimore, havre de grace. plenty of rain on the susquehanna river. in downtown bel air, always a spot that can have some pretty dense traffic while the rain is always never a help. temperatures now warming up just a little bit after a lot of rain cooling earlier today that allowed us to stay in the low to mid-60s. as we look across the region, you can see a mix of hit and mix showers over the eastern part of the state into the northern part of delaware. to the west there is still more weather to contend with. the storm system itself, a slow mover with a reach all the way west into southern illinois. a couple of frontal boundaries wrapping around that area of low

pressure. as we go forward this is a slow weather pattern that will keep the risk for showers. we're not warm sector side. temperatures will rise tomorrow, still cloudy, still chance for showers. drier air as we get into late thursday but in the meantime there will be a hit or miss showers even through early thursday. then another front marching in slowly will bring the significantly cooler air by the second half of the week. saturday looks cooler but looks like temperatures will stay up through the end of the workweek. tonight 67. rain tapers off temporarily. we bring in that patchy dense fog. tomorrow 85. it will be damp, warmer and scattered storms. showers will taper off tomorrow night. here's the outlook a stray shower thursday. friday looks nice with sunshine and good looking weather. as we look at the outlet, you can see the trend for sunday and
