we're back in the low to mid-60s without the wind. that will be enjoyable. clouds will roll in on thursday, but temperatures will warm up despite that. we'll be pushing 70. the overall setup, high pressure ridge. that's keeping the skies generally clear, scattered showers over the great lakes. most of the action should stay for another 48 hours. rafael coming close to bermuda. still a strong category one hurricane, gusting high are, gusting close to 100 and movement is fast. this thing is 1,000 miles offshore. the storm itself will only be a threat to shipping interests as it heads out to sea.
