-- pringle. whether you are headed to hunt valley for komen maryland race for the cure or the harvest festival, there's a lot happening this weekend. >> lynette has a check of the weather. >> it's important weekend and i think you will like what i have. this morning, though, we are dealing with some scattered showers across the area. so maryland's most powerful radar is wet. we were wetter this morning and we had thunderstorms. those are pretty much out of here as of now. dealing with light rain in joshing this morning. so if you are going along i-83 up to red lion, you will feel that. around -- delta is dry. jarrettsville drying out and one lone shower around anne arundel county this morning. we are seeing that around green haven and also lake shore. so, be prepared for the off and on scattered showers as we continue through the morning. but it will slowly but surely taper off going into the afternoon. right now, temperatures are very mild. you don't need the heavy coat at all. temperatures at 65 degrees in

chestertown and 60 in clarksville and catonsville. and this is the planner throughout the day. lunchtime temperatures 72. it's going to be a warm day on tap. let's check the abc2 timesaver traffic with lauren cook good morning. >> reporter: good morning. as you mentioned, we are dealing with fog across the region. expect reduced visibility. roads will be wet out there as well. so, slow it down and be careful as you head out and howard county, a fallen utility pole in ellicott city that shut down old frederick road at mckenzie road. use interstate 70 instead. that will be nice and clear. and if you are headed out to 95, here's a live look at the south side at interstate 195. traffic is moving along. no delays heading down to dc and everything will be nice and clear heading through the fort mchenry tunnel. 695 g's to be in -- going to be in great shape. an 11 minute right on outer loop from 95 up to 83. and no problems to report on the west side of the beltway. just 11 minutes to travel the outer loop from 795 all the way down to 95. that's a look at your abc2

timesaver traffic. megan and charley over to you. news time 5:31. they are watching and listening to you on your ride to and from woman. the mta says it's for your safety but some say it goes too far. sherrie johnson is here and we have covered crimes on buses before. i suppose this is in response to that. >> reporter: yes, it is. mta wants to use cameras to beef up security and keep passengers safe. there's 10 cameras on every bus. four outside and 6 inside recording your every move and word. the mta has had surveillance video but -- but audio was off limits until now. acting on a ruling from the attorney general office that it's lawful, training is underway for drivers and the first 10 buses equipped with the cameras hit the road with more than 300 others to follow in the next few months. the american civil liberties union says the mta has gone -- mta has gone too far.

last month's assault on a woman by two people on a north avenue line shows the need for sound to go with surveillance pictures. >> she is alleging the case may have been a hate crime. we have got video of the incident, but don't have audio. and that would help make the case as we try to find the two young men involved in the attack. >> the technology certainly exist to have the cameras be the audio be turned on only when there's public safety incident that would warrant it. >> reporter: the mta says the recordings will only be kept for 30 days and no one will monitor every conversation. critics say that once the conversations reach a data base the government cannot be trusted to keep from using them as it chooses. sherrie johnson, abc2 news. a funeral for one family member is tough enough but a funeral for five is unimaginable especially when four are under the age of 7. nancy worrell and her four

young grandchildren died in a fire in northeast baltimore last week. they were remembered as loving people from a close-knit family. nearly 1,000 people packed the mount pleasant church to pay respects and to mourn the terrible tragedy. >>i love you. and takes off running. a masked man is on her hills. police don't know if the gunman attended a robbery or another violent act. the gunman is on the loose. not so glamorous part about having a child is dealing with stinky diapers and that's why a woman says she was kicked off a bus. nicole rides the bus every day and was taking her 1-year-old to the doctor because he had diarrhea. there were half a mile from the clinic when the driver stopped the bus. >> right after that she told me i needed to get off the bus. i said why is that? and she said you -- your baby smells really bad and it's not fair we have to smell that. >> she got off the bus and changed the diaper and she filed a complaint with the bus company and they say while the driver does feel terrible, she had to look out for the other passengers on board. if you can't strike it big while playing the lottery you hope guys like this win. >> a 22-year-old from massachusetts won 30.5 million

50-50 out there. at the surface we are waiting for the cold front to move through and it will do so for today. hint it, it will get cooler and breezych as we look at the future trend, still around 8, we have a chance for showers in the forecast. so, keep the umbrella handy and then things will taper off. you can see slowly but surely still though not going to rule out an isolated shower as we go into the afternoon around the eastern shore. again, that upper-level low is still going to be on top of us heading through today and tomorrow. and until that pushes out of here by sunday, i haveto keep a chance in here. but high pressure is going to be our friend on sunday. and through next week. that temperature today i am going with is 74 degrees. breezy conditions will prevail. 48 degrees and dry decreasing clouds by tonight. 65 degrees, much cool are by tomorrow and -- cooler by tomorrow. we are looking great for the komen race. it will be chilly with the temperatures starting out at 46 or 48 and look at the warmup going into next week.

an ordinary school day turns extraordinary for a 4th grader. >> sasha was sitting in her class when her brother walked through the door. staff sergeant trazar finished his 5th tour overseas. and he says that his sister she is proud of him. but she hopes he is home foregood. >> she doesn't want me to -- for good. >> she doesn't want me to go back. it pains her when i tell her i am not going and a couple months later i go. i volunteer and go back out with my guys. i enjoy being out there with my fellow marines. >> the latest tour had him in afghanistan for the past ten months. stay with us this morning, she had big plans after college graduation. however, all of that changed. it was put on hold because africanser diagnose nice this morning as we count down to the komen race, meet brigette spence. >> and also ahead, spend hours shopping for the right dress but she never got to wear it.
