the car is described as a silver four-door stratus. the men took her to an atm, made her take out money and let her go. 10 minutes later, police say they struck again. >> this 19-year-old victim was riding his bike on roland avenue. they struck this victim with the car. the victim fell off the bicycle and then made sure he was okay. at that point they forced him into their vehicle. >> he was robbed and eventually dropped off as well. police have increased the number of officers but they are asking anyone who may have seen the car to call 911 rote away. video out of miami beach. hurricane sandy is producing high winds and waves. by tomorrow expect waves up to 15 feet high. >> whatever happens in florida, we want to know will it affect us here. let's find out from meteorologist wyatt everhart with the latest on sandy's path.

as a pastor, my support for question 6 is rooted in my belief that the government should treat everyone equally. i wouldn't want someone denying my rights based upon their religious views, so i shouldn't deny others based upon mine. it's about fairness. i support this law because it doesn't force any church to perform a same sex marriage if it's against their beliefs. and that's what this is about. protecting religious freedom and all marylanders equally under the law. join me in voting for question 6.

how does that stack up. 64 would be the average. we've been as cold as 25 degrees. we're two degrees off the old time record so that is bit unusual. temperatures in the mid-70s across the board and a quiet pattern other than morning cloud cover which eventually broke up. temperatures skyrocket. a big surge of very warm air out of the south. we'll be down to the mid-70s. not quite as warm mass today. take a lock at our future temps. we're back in the 70s. what i want to draw your attention to, as we go into friday night, you begin to see this surge of colder air up here in chicagoland and points north and west. that's coming down the pike. no matter what, our storm to the south, so that cold air is building. you see the snow coming down, colorado through the dakotas.

that is cold air. it will interact with sandy, which will be a coastal storm offshore. now sandy is a category one hurricane, a pounding -- pounding jamaica. it will move up through eastern cuba, guantanamo bay. and this is where the cone of probability gets wide. this is the average of the storm traction. it could end up being off maryland, off the mid-atlantic coasts. most of the models want to bend it from new york city up to canada. that will put us on the south side of the storm. either way it's going to be cold, windy and rainy. 50 for tonight. this is going to be above average, still a great day it get outside. the next few days we're in the 70s. by saturday night a shower. the storm system, which will

patients for 40 years one on one as a doctor and then in the last 20 years working in public health. it's been a natural transition for me to get involved in politics and what i see as the nation needs healing. right now we have a representative, who is not standing up for the bay, not standing up for women's rights, not standing up for the average citizen. he is not representing district 1 at all. testimony' e -- if i'm elected, i will stand up for social security, for medicare. i will try to improve and implement obamacare and stand up for the rights of women. so if you think about it, this election is going to be pivotal. you have an opportunity to vote for continued brinksmanship or statesmanship. you make the choice. >> between the debt, the

unemployment rate, the shaky housing market, where do you see us going toward solutions to fix these things? >> we've come out of one of the the cores times economically. we're still struggling but i see promise. the unemployment rate is trending down. the housing market is going up. as we work through our load of foreclosed houses. what one of the signs i think is promising that if you look at the average personal debt that's gone down people have used this time to pay off debt and to try to consolidate their own finances. i think we're at a time where we can start to move forward. what it takes, though, is putting money back in the hands of the middle class so they have money to spend and that will get the whole wheel of the engine

moving. by simply focusing on cutting taxes, is not the right way to go. >> former secretary of state condoleezza rice said education today is like a civil rights struggle. how do you assess that statement? >> i think she's very wise and agree. education is a very uneven experience and there are schools that are good and some students who don't have access to good schools. looking at private versus public because of the the structure, we use property taxes. i think we need to strengthen our education because this is the future of america, not to use an old chloe -- cliche. we have to get out of the way. we can't go to a situation where there are no standards and in
