tough to look at. we have more on this story with sherrie johnson. >> reporter: it involve as puppy found in a home and left to die. animal control brought the pit bull to the shelter where she was named molly. there are fresh bite wounds on the face and paws, this reall deep and infected. there is skin missing with infection and causing the areas to bulge out. there is a chance that she will survive. the dog was found in an empty home not far from the west side shopping center. a contractor entered the home to rehab it and found the dog in the basement on a leash. >> i get upset thinking about it how can someone do that to a dog. we have more video on the web site officials hope that someone will come forward with more information.

that includes bge. and what do you have. >> basically you have been working the phones and learning that many stores have sold out of generators. home depot have sold out and they are they will be in the stores. and some can you get a shipment and within minutes they were gone. and a hot item. people are hitting the stores getting ready for sandy. everyone is trying to make sure they have power. they are getting tarps and generators. outages lasting for days. larger generators attached to the home were a worthwhile investment. we spoke with language managers they hope to get an emergency shipment in as soon as possible. >> this could be a long one again once the winds kick up and the limbs come down, we

>> reporter: we're here at precinct 9 in white marsh be tonight at 9:00 officers throughout the state will be getting in their cars to look for drunk drivers. this project is called saving our loved ones. joining us this morning is officer frank enco. you will be on the roads. what will you be looking for. what is the goal? >> the goal is to remove the impaired driver from the road. not about writing tickets put making them safer. >> reporter: is this problem with drinking and driving? >> it is, we had 104 people killed by impaired driers -- drivers. every 57 minutes someone is hit or killed by an impaired driver. we want to make the roads safer. >> reporter: you will be going out in areas that have been known to be a problem with drinking and driving. how are the zones targeted? >> we look at all the information and we have a computer system where we can look at roads and see we have

as a pastor, my support for question 6 is rooted in my belief that the government should treat everyone equally. i would not want someone denying my rights based upon their religious views, therefore i should not deny others based upon mine. it's about fairness. this law does not force any church to perform a same sex marriage if it's against their beliefs. and that's what this is about.
