all counties with a deep freeze expected, meaning below freezing for an hour or two. we're talking four or five hours, below freezing. some spots in the upper 20s. could see 26 in bel air. 32. tomorrow struggling to get much beyond 40. so it will be a chilly, chilly day. we're clear across maryland, delaware, virginia but a clear sky to help clear things will hd cover. we'll have the clouds beginning tomorrow night ahead have our next some. this nor'easter beginning to form off the florida coast, off the carolina coast. we're clear through tomorrow afternoon. early wednesday it's going to be interesting to she how close the system will track up the coast. if it comes in 50 miles closer,

listen to you. after being in washington for over a decade dutch has become washington. he votes the way he's told to by his party bosses like nancy pelosi and claims to be a moderate. he's no moderate. if you elect me,ly work against the gridlock. i'm known in the maryland senate for working with parties from both. if you elect me, i will not do a disappearing act the day after the election. i will be responsive. i will listen and i will get things done on your behalf. >> we're dealing with a $16 trillion rate, unemployment at 8% and housing market shaky at best. where do you start to get solutions? >> we didn't get here overnight and will not get out of this overnight. as i mentioned before you can't strangle business. you can't scare business owners half to death wondering what

they're going to be facing next with rising taxes. we're going it hit them with more taxes? we need to reassure them that it's safe to start looking ahead at building upon their business at hiring people. right now in this economy people are afraid. businesses, owners are afraid to take that risk to hire people because it is a risk. you never know when you will get slapped with more corporate taxes or regulations that just kill you as a business. >> former secretary of state condoleezza rice recently called education the civil rights struggle of our time. do you agree with that? and how wow address it? >> i do. a child should not be a prd of just -- product of just their environment. we have situation that is kids, just because of where they live have little choice but to go to

a failing school. that's a travesty. that's not right. children should not have to go to a failing school because of their address. i think we can work to change that. i think we need to have some choices. at the state level, we're attempting in some areas to allow parents the choice to send their student, their child to another school that's not failing. america is the land of opportunity, no matter what role our aren'ts have in life, whether they're successful or no every child should be guaranteed a good education. look at ben cardin. he was raised in public housing. because of quality education, he became revered brain surgeon. >> we have about 30 seconds left what would you do with afghanistan? what's the end game?
