>> what's got the residents of new haven, connecticut, up in arms? something they are calling a dirt bike minute. >> this has been growing into a big problem where they have kids riding in the streets, riding on sidewalks and parks. sometimes they go into the other lanes of traffic just to pop wheelies. >> one incident they even hit a 7-year-old child. residents have basically had enough. >> a lot of these vehicles aren't street legal. >> they aren't even supposedroa place. >> the theory is you get enough of these guys together, it's hard for the cops to chase everybody. >> that's exactly what the police are saying. it's real hard to catch these people without endangeringhe f alderman held a committee meeting. two of the kids who like to bike just for recreation actually showed up. of course they acted like teenagers. >> you're saying we don't find a place to ride, you're going to keep riding?

>> they came because they said vinnie, who is a sergeant in one of the police departments in the area asked them to come. >> i wasn't going come. the sergeant asked me to come up here. >> it's getting to be a huge issue all over the country because dirt bikes are cheaper than a street bike. >> you don't register, put insurance on it. >> at this point, residents are starting to call these things weapons and their violations aren't just traffic violations. police say these are reckless driving infractions. these are endangerment infractio infractions. you hit a 7-year-old girl, you're endangering people. you can't just walk away with a traffic citation for that. >> a custody dispute led to a shoot-out with police in georgia. marquise harris, 33 years old, with the blue shirt on. listen what he's telling the cops to do. >> tell my kids i love them. >> he was in a discussion with the mother over the custody of the kids. that discussion got pretty

heated, enough for the mother to call police because she was concerned for her life. when police arrived, they got into it with marquise harris here. you can hear the tension between harris and the police. >> i don't care, man. i don't care, man. i don't have nothing to say to the police. >> backed up against a car dealership and there are people inside the dealership while this discussion is going on. >> i'm ready to die. >> harris eventually moves his hand down near his waist and quickly does this. >> listen to what you're saying. >> where are the shots coming from? >> police say harris pulled a gun and fired first. officers responded with a hail of gunfire. harris is currently listed in critical condition. none of the officers were hit in this exchange of gunfire. several police officers, they won't tell us how many, have been put on administrative leave because they discharged their

weapon. >> the woman we're hearing off camera, sounds like that's the mother of his children. >> listen to what you're saying. >> there's no reports as to who that is off camera talking with harris. someone is trying to get him to comply with police. sadly he doesn't. this shooting happened saturday, the video just now surfacing. they may be able to use this as part of the investigation. >> listen to what you're saying. over the past six months, five different people have fallen into the train tracks in boston on their mbta red line. we saw this on boston.com. the most recent one in november, a woman straight walked off the platform. it looked like she kind of wasn't paying attention there. goes into the yellow, falls right there on the track. days before that bystanders say this 29-year-old woman was kind of stumbling around, then we see her, boom, a solid drop.

what's that, about 6, 7' drop. >> less than a month before that, a 54-year-old woman, a woman in the white coat, you see her. looks like she's talking to her friend. boom, she falls down here. you guys might remember this incident from august. a woman and her 4-year-old son, she thought she could board that train on the other side of the platform, didn't realize train tracks were there. she fell down holding onto her son. way back in june a man fell -- to me it looked like he was looking down the platform trying to see a train coming. fortunately in all these incidents passengers were right there, close by, able to pull them up to safety, no train, too. >> i feel sorry for them. bright yellow paint is there for a reason. >> i'm thinking the same thing. these people seem to be completely oblivious of the world around them.

we celebrate all kinds of traditions all the time all over the world. how is this a tradition? >> people letting dozens of cows run over them. >> dozens of men willingly being trampled by cows. apparently these men volunteer themselves to be trampled by cows because they believe that their prayers will be answered in doing so. [ laughter ] >> that one stopped. >> the cows are adorned with colorful flowers. they even get hen, a decorations and patterns on their bodies. then these men just lay face down on the ground and let cows jump all over them. >> you've got to think about it. these are traditions that go back hundreds of years. this is something they like to do in honor of their religion. they do believe that their

chasing after a man that looks like as he's swinging his baton hits a 13-year-old boy that is there with two women. he immediately falls to the ground but it doesn't end there. another cop shows up and with his baton strikes him. >> the boy? the young boy? >> the young boy. >> after he's already down. >> and as two women are trying to guard him because he did just fall, he is holding his head. according to reports, he wasn't even there for the protest. he had nothing to do with what was going on in the streets. >> that's a mess. >> a few seconds later the camera comes over and you see a young girl arguing with the cop. i'm thinking maybe explaining what just happened and he ends up pushing her. two cops also go at it on her. she falls to the ground and is
