most of it but everything changed in the second half. the ravens were down before joe flacco found dennis pitta to put the team ahead. then this was all ravens. two more touchdown passes to anquan boldin and it was all over. now the team, they wasted no time getting back home after last nate's game but they had plenty of time to relive some of those great moments. every player contributed to the win but joe flacco was the standout. he was the elite player coaches said he is. he talked about celebrating a win but keeping an aon the next step. >> you have to enjoy it and get all this mayhem that's going to be involved with the game and getting people down to the game and all that stuff. you have to get that out of the way and take care of that so that when you focus on the

we're in a slightly milder pocket in the low 40s for wind chills in central m north and west toward hagerstown the cold air is arriving. look how cold -- look at the result of that cold blast. lake-effect snow reaching down into pennsylvania. this evening 30s, chillily and staying -- chilly and staying breezy. in that chilly weather, president obama's inaugural address lasted only 18 minutes but it was much more optimistic than the one in 2009. he said the next four years will be defined by a younger, more progressive and diverse america and he sounded like a polythition who didn't have to worry about reelection. karen travers was on hand. >> reporter: on a perfect crisp winter day president obama signaled a new she son in america. >> my fellow americans, we are made for this moment.

it's a problem that impacts nearly a million people. it's inflammatory bowel desease known as ibd. we're taking your call. exexperiments are standing by top answer your questions. today we are joined by dr. raymond cross spoasht professor at the school of medicine. what is ibd? >> ibd is comprised of crohn's and colitis. it's an autoimmune disease that affects the intestines. it can cause abdominal pain,

diarrhea, bloody diarrhea, weight loss and intestinal symptoms that can affect the eye, mouth, skin. >> who gets it? is there a target audience? >> typically affects young people. average age of onset is 25 to 35. however, about 15% of patients are diagnosed in adolescence and childhood. about 15% in middle age hand older, so it can really affect any age griewrntion typically disbutted between men and women between one to one. we don't know why some patients get it. it's bad luck. there's some kind of environmental insalt, antibiotics, an insult to the gi tract. in a genetically susceptible person, the person who inherited the correct genes to get the disease, they'll get the

disease. typically the immune system turns on and won't turn off, resulting in the symptoms. >> is it a mystery to figure out what this is? >> sometimes. especially young women can be diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome which is vastly different from crohn's or chow lie ties. >> what about a cure for this. once you figure out you have ibd and see a specialist like you, how do you treat this? >> no cure. there are over 100 genes that have been identified that are candidate genes for medical therapy for a cure. we have highly effective medical therapy that can get people into remission for long periods of time. >> so they to see someone like you or an exsprt to get their questions answered. >> right. >> doctor, you'll be back in the show. in you -- if you have a

into the maryland state line. that's in the northern counties. looks like plenty of sun mixing in but we'll be glad to have thankful the bottom line is the air temps will be so cold with the arctic blast, the sun will not do much to warm it up. detroit, chicago, eerie, down -- erie, down in the teens. baltimore, falling into the teens by daybreak tomorrow. a frozen dawn, a day where we struggle to get past 20 degrees tomorrow afternoon. it stays breezy. tomorrow night places like pittsburgh will be down to five degrees. baltimore 12 to 14 degrees. that's tomorrow night. if you have exposed pipes under the house not well ensuelated, let the pipes drip. even by day temperatures will not reach above freezing. it will be a real brief hit and then we're back to the mild

winter. we're in a cool patch. the arctic blast settles in overnight. it really settles into wednesday. then we would generally start to moderate. guess what, a secondary shot of frigid air arriving late in the week. that will make for cold weather. tonight 20 degrees, cold and breezy and blustery. a two-degree guarantee of 25. here's a look at the next few days, temperatures in the mid to upper 20s. friday we were get a slightly rest frigid but bring in the threat of a wintry mix. as we look beyond that into the weekend, it looks dry and uneventful for saturday and sunday. it's interesting, today the big inauguration day. look back to last year when this was bone chilling like this was tomorrow. at least everyone that went to the inauguration, it was not the bla. the blast is one day behind.

in tonight's consumer alert, another recall for honda's mini vans and pilot suv. the air bags may not deploy properly. last month honda recalled hundreds of thousands of the

same two vehicles because the ignition key could be removed. federal investigators are trying to determine if boeing's dream liners planes are safe for flight. the -- national transportation safety board will conduct more tests. previous tests showed a lithium battery was not overcharged. suspicions about the battery prompted the u.s. and other nations to ground all dreamliners last week. it appears americans are listening to the health warnings about sugary drinks. soda sales have declined. beverage makers are switching gears to offer more sports drinks, you from the juices. coke, pepsi and dr. pepper have expand their offerings in the last eight years. the shock is wearing off from that ravens win. it may not seem real.
