rally. >> reporter: definitely exciting time. it's important to mention this is the 12th anniversary of when the ravens won the super bowl in 2001 when they beat the giants. here we are today. the fans are going to be gathering for a big send off. the ravens are going to stop by here, a big rally planned today. baltimore city is hosting that rally, this morning we have ravens cheerleaders that have stopped by to talk to us a little bit. they are shaking the pompons. we are excited here. we have amanda and shawn, good morning to you both. tell us a little bit about what people can expect this morning. >> it's going to be a great show. we will be performing and the band from 10:30 to 11:30. players will be here at 12. >> reporter: why is is this send off so important? >> it's good to get the motivation and city prepared

switching gears, it's going to be a difficult day for a baltimore cityelementary school. 7 family members made it out of a fire saturday night. the young girl did not. flowers are placed on the fence as a makeshift memorial to raven. >> she was a nice girl. i misher. >> i'm scared. i still want her here. >> the cause of fire remains under investigation. firefighters say they will be in the neighborhood this week, handing out free smoke detectors. a small plane crashed in to the hudson and both people survived. police say they were rescued from a single engine plane that crashed and sank in to the frozen river. they were plucked from the waters 30 minutes after the crash. arm yourself, that's the rally from a wisconsin sheriff, the lawman says calling 911 and
