day-to-day? >> it was tricky to deal with i had some therapy in the hospital to try to learn to walk with it at first. things are going well. >> why didn't you wear a helmet? >> i'm an idiot. i was thinking about getting one for the past couple months, just haven't. that's the biggest mistake of my life. >> looking back, do you feel you were overmatched on this mountain? do you think you should have been out there? >> it was just a path i took. he went one way, i went the other way. i went the wrong way, i guess. >> after you finished the tumble, what was going through your head? >> i was knocked out for a good couple minutes. i came to. i cracked my skull open. there's a 6 to 8-inch gash on my head. >> when you started tumbling, did you think this was it? >> thinking back on it, i was like is this it? i was really scared this one's going to scare you. i got to warn you, it's difficult to watch.
