valentine's day. the hearing was delayed until tuesday or wednesday. and as we get more information, follow us on twitter we'll pass it along to you. a developing story, we are learning about the indistrictor that shot a trainee during an exercise in owings mills. linda so is live and we're learning more about the instructor. what can you tell us this morning. >> he is an 18-year veteran of the force. he's been training recruits for 12 years now. they have identified him as 46- year-old william scott kearn. he was with a group 560 trainees at the rose wood center when he hit a recruit. he is in stable condition. and maryland police is handling the investigation and they released a statement saying that the investigation centers on whether criminal charges will be filed.
