boomers continue to age. a courtroom, a man accused of murdering his lands lord 30 years ago is set to make an appearance. he has a pretrial hearing held on $10 million bail, he was arrested in baltimore, back in 2008 after kidnapping his daughter at the time. following breaking news, south africa, oscar pa tore yous appeared in court today. he sobbed during the bail hearing as prosecutors described her murder. this comes as her family says their final good-byes.>4 proceduring charged him with

the wwe announced they selected the mercedes benz super dome. a boost to the economy there and they could use it. the wrestle mania event in miami generated $100 million in local revenue. you have to check this out. basketball coach at brandon university in canada, made this shot from half court. pretty impressive. he won't keep the money. the shot was for a student's tuition. a student will have all of the classes paid for at the university.

loren cook. good morning, if you are traveling to downtown baltimore, watchout for a crash on lumbart, howard street, not far from the scene, dealing with construction that shutdown south green street between lumbart and pratt. no delays traveling through the fort mc henry, a crash cleared from the southbound lanes of 895, childs street, everything back to normal. heading to the beltway, dealing with congestion, just starting to build on the west side of the beltway, we will be slow in the outer loop, pushing from 795, down to 70, that stretch will take you 9 minutes. inner loop, no problems to 795, a look at harford, inner loop, no delays down to 95. that loop is going to take you 12 minutes, not bad at all to travel from 95 up to 83. following breaking news this morning, we want to pass

along to you out of middle river. three people were shot. sherrie johnson is working the story, she joins us live with the latest information on the case. what have you learn sod far. >> reporter: i spoke with baltimore county police, this is an active investigation, they are telling me, three people were shot in middle river. it happened in the 2100 block of eastern boulevard and middle river, that's near martin state airport. one person is confirmed dead, and we have all new video that was shot overnight of the scene. officers received a 911 call before midnight about shots fired when they arrived on the scene, they found the victims lying in a parking lot area, rushed to bay view medical center for treatment. one person died from the gunshot wound, right now police do not have a suspect in the case. homicide detectives are investigating and on the scene for much of the morning, that i have not released the identities of the victims. sherrie johnson, abc2 news.

the officer trainee shot in the head during an exercise is doing better this morning. doctors say his condition has been upgraded from grave to serious. we are waiting to hear from the police commissioner anthony bats, he is going to explain what will happen at the training facility. limited training is expected to resume this week, however firearms drills have been moved to the ends of the session. final resting place for pet lovers in their one community, the oakly pet cemetery is not getting the care it deserves. the community association will meet to address the situation. speaking before the group will be jim jones, he documented everything that's happening there, vandz lizm and the dicrepe id state of the cemetery.

today's the governor is touring a cyber security company in hanover called keyw. the goal is to make sure maryland is the leader in cyber security, innovation, and job creation. he is touring it today. happening today, if you own a dog, you are going to want to know what lawmakers have to say. linda so is here to explain. what are they going to debate? >> the house will debate a bill changing maryland's current law for dog owners. that law singles out pit bulls as dangerous. the bill would declare all dogs dangerous, meaning if someone is bitten by a dog, they could sue the dog's owner. the owner could defend themselves in court. the bill would make it easier for renters to own pit bulls and other dogs. lands lords could be sued by someone bitten by a dog. if the person can prove their
