ground. we're talking about fog. we a round of heavy rain that moved through the overnight right now, though, it is -- it is lingering. if you are in northeast and cecil and you are going to be dealing with the heavy rain that is moving through. we could see a half ininform this. put down this morning from the heavy rain and a half inacross the area. now we're dealing with the lighter showers. but as you look to the south look at this. the center of the storm. it is over south carolina as of now. right in the area. and it continues to move up to i-95 corridor and heading to us. we go into the later morning hours we will get in on again on the heavy rain coming down across the area. as we're stepping out temperature-wise we're warm and humid. and if you wake up this morning you make sure that you have the

suing. and the company working on the building at the time of the collapse. and officials have started inspecting hundreds of sites in the area. it is what they are trained to do. we daul a miracle. a sheriff's deputy saved the life of a boy who was found in the family pool. and we have more on the story. >> reporter: it is one of the worst possible situations a boy is found in a pool of the house. his family did everything right in the efforts to save his life. they got him out. started cpr and called for help. the first person who helped was the deputy. >> i felt the child's pulse. he had a pulse. and noticed he was not director- generalling. that the time i bent his neck

back. and this breathing was obstructed by vomit. i scooped it out and patted him he started to gasp for air. >> by that time they arrived at the house and rushed him to the hospital. his condition has not been released. the deputy has only been on the force for three years, this is not the first time he has driven up to a scene where someone was not breathing. he performed cpr on a woman who had a heart attack. some go and never have to use cpr. >> it is something we like to do. is a good dealing -- feeling. >> and that deputy says he credits his training for showing him how to do this but he hopes he goes the rest of his career without having to do it again. >> and all right. coming up can you hear me now. the security agency could hear you all along. spyingon your phone calls.

view. this was from the ef 5 twister followed by a path running west to east. the storm was two and a half miles wide going through a stretch. two dozen people were killed and 300 injured. we have seen a lot of people lost their property. a twister touched down in the area of the country not used to seeing this sort of thing. the weather service is confirming that a tornado did hit a community about 30 miles north of fort lauderdale. and the winds sent him airborne. that's hard to imagine he is okay. nobody else was seriously hurt but it did do a lot of damage to buildings. boats and as you can see it up rooted a lot of trees in the area. it looks like this is because of andrea and that's the reason we're seeing the heavy rain.
