the heat index value is high. take a look across the region. widely scattered activity. not much of it in maryland at the moment. a lot of it in northern virginia. that could shift through the day. our future trend shows an area offshore. it could preening rain to the lower -- bring rain to the lower eastern shore. you can't get too specific. here's our frontal boundary in southern ohio into central pa. storms likely to flare, at least on a scattered basis. it looks less rainy on wednesday, maybe a stray shower, not as much. the trend into the mid-80s the next couple of days, the drop in humidity. it has going to feel more pleasant. set to get more active with the slow moving front and slow moving are a of low pressure -- area of low pressure.
