called kids bowl free, sounds good. sherrie johnson shows us how the program is making a difference for students in our area. >> meagan, yes, that's right, kids bowl free serves more than 1 million children nationwide and locally 1500 kids participate. it's a way to keep them off the streets out of trouble and having a little fun during the summer break. here at stone lanes, kids found a fun way to beat the heat. learning about duck pin bowling. kids bowl free. boys and girls enjoy two free games everyday, all summer. >> it's something to do for summer. time and resources have been cut out. parents have something to do with the kids during the day. >> the 6th year for kids bowl free. 1200 bowling centers participate from coast to coast. nationally it serves more than
