heart break for a family after a 7-year-old boy was found dead, just feet from where he was seen, now there were questions about the efforts to find him. sherrie johnson is here to explain. what are the complaints? >> police are saying they did everything they could to find him. neighbors are not so sure. the body of 7 year old michael kingsbury was found in an abandoned car two doors down from his home. michael was seen in an alley near the home in dc trinidad and found 40 feet from where the child had been last seen by family members 32 hours before. it only took first responders minutes to arrive but too late. he had died. many people are upset questioning how he wasn't found earlier, police parked their cars feet from the car the child was found in. >> this is sad. i don't know what i'm going to do.

the mother says her son had autism spectrum disorder and said the only other time he wondered off he was found a door away. so far police don't suspect foul play but continue to search for answers. every time this happens, every time we report, we wonder how a pair of relatives could leave a child in a burning car, it happened again, 16-month-old baby died after left in a hot car for hours. linda so is live. a lot of people are wondering as we all are, how could someone do something like this? >> reporter: a male relative forgot to drop the girl off at daycare. he went home, left her in the car, took a four-hour nap. the state's attorneys office is determining whether they will file charges against the relative. police say when the male relative got up, he got in his

car and drove to the daycare before realizing he had left her in the car. 16-month-old sabrina was in cardiac arrest and died at the hospital on friday. she was supposed to be dropped off in lancedown. karen who runs safe kids baltimore to prevent childhood injuries says more than half of the cases comes down to forgetting the child, especially when a parent or guardian is off their normal routine. >> put your purse, your briefcase, your computer, your, anything, your lunch, anything that you know you are going to take out of the vehicle when you leaf leave the vehicle in the backseat with the child. >> reporter: 19 kids have died this year after left in cars. plane crash in san francisco, we have been telling you about, this is after the plane came in to the runway at the airport. see the smoke billowing from the wreckage.
