all right, checking out our top story, crews are battling to gain control of a wildfire in central idaho. 2,300 homes approximately have been evacuated in the resort towns of ketchum and sun valley. olympic sprinter and double amputee oscar pistorius is being indicted today in a south african court for the murder of his girlfriend, reeva steenkamp. steenkamp would have turned 30 today. another day of violence in egypt. officials say suspected militants who killed 24 policemen in an ambush in northern sinai. the death toll nears 900. looking at today's weather, we've got all kinds of rain in new orleans as well as atlanta.

himself when he was-- when he came after that officer and was killed he was under the influence of serious drug. >> beckman was flown to shock trauma with where he died. the deputy involved suffered minor injuries and is on administrative leave. they are check for surveillance video to get a better idea of what happened. >> just last week we told you about two other police-involved shooting the first on tuesday when an officer shot a suspect who police say was dragging the office are alongside a moving car. in that case the suspect was killed. another person in the car was arrested. in the other police involved shooting last tuesday in baltimore city, police say the officer he witnessed a drug deal going on near a school and one of the suspects appeared to have a gun. the officer fired and the suspect in that case is expected to recover. police are investigating a triple shooting two in fact. the
