some of the reasons it feels warmer, if anything, tomorrow, the humidity ratcheting up higher. dew points could push 70 tomorrow. that goes up. i don't think that will lead to any showers or storms tomorrow. things look pretty stable. high pressure is still in control but into the day on thursday, changes ahead. things get a little more unsettled. moisture cranks up. so a shower or storm will be possible, certainly late thursday and into our early friday. after that cooler air is coming, but it does look dry. it's going to be great news for the maryland state fair. clear weather over the great lakes. active pattern south of us. that stalled out frontal boundary, which so often the summer has been on top of maryland. this kept the skies cloudy. that shifted south. this sunshine alone enough to heat us up close to 90 today. i think that will happen in order tomorrow as we push up into the upper 80s.

alcohol on dwyer's breath. as a result the officer provided sobriety tests which dwyer failed. he is awaiting to be sentenced for operating a boat last year. sentencing for that is scheduled for october. >> we return to summer like weather, 90 in the city. many of the outer areas in the low 80s. these numbers slow to cool off, maybe down to 70, 68 degrees. tomorrow we're back into the upper 80s. a few spots could touch 90 including the city through northern anne arundel county. across the east coast you see the dry weather across the northeast, great lakes. one band of active weather south of the maryland line. so hour by hour tonight, mild, some clouds, partly sunny. temperatures ramp up. the question is how long the sun and hot weather holds up.
