>> sandwiched between doing his chores and football practice, michael shearer risked his lifesaving the lives of three children. michael was working on a roadside flower garden for his mom when he heard a crash. he spotted a wrecked fire in a ravine and saw a woman emerge from the driver's seat and called out for help to get her three children out. >> when i got up to the road, i was carrying the third child, the whole front of the car was on fire. after that, that car, i'm not sure if the gas tank ignite or whatever, but that car went up pretty quick. >> reporter: as a precaution, paramedics transported them with minor injuries. michael said his parents thought

that leaking those documents aided al qaeda. it's been more than three years since manning was first detexaned in iraq, suspected of leak a video of a helicopter attack that killed innocent civilians. he was later charged with the 2010 leak of three quarter million classified or confidential documents to wikileaks. he said he understood what he was dog but didn't believe he would harm the u.s. he will be dishonorably discharged. his next stop, a prison cell at ft. leaven worthington. >> we need whistleblowers like pfc manning, people who are not afraid to speak up and tell the truth and risk their freedom to keep us informed.

the weekend from tonight into tomorrow increasing cloud cover and increasing chances for rain. by the way, as we look at the setup, this front that's on its move through the great lakes right now will spark the showers tomorrow and help to increase those and bring some relief. the muggy conditions that big return plus, that setup is going to be changing. the really warm pattern holds for another change. here's the next knew days. upper 80s, maybe a stray showers a late last friday morning. best chance for rain thursday. look how much drier and milder things trend. right now, conditions looking ideal after a couple of rough years weather wise, a very active tropical season one after another. the tropics look, i mean, peaceful, nothing going on for the moment. >> he just jinxed it.
