than the nicu. they have a team behind them and that's the case for the 450 babies who need that special care. megan introduces us to a grateful couple >> yes. yes. >> reporter: spend some time with them and you can tell there is never a dull moment. the baltimore county couple had their arms full, of love and work >> exciting but challenging. exhausting. >> reporter: there is 3-year- old list beth and twins joseph and e li. you would never know by looking at them, healthy and full of personality that they as the resulted life in a tough way. >> it was emotional. not how i saw anything. >> reporter: they could never prepare for the challenges that were ahead of them as 32 weeks in, an emergency c section put them where they never expected, nicu. seeing their sons like this was

agony. they both said they have a hard time thinking about it. they struggle to remember what it was like. >> when you first see them it's shocking. they are so small and hooked up to cpap to get oxygen and -- tubes all over their bodies. >> reporter: joseph for two weeks, eli for four. >> you aren't used to diapering with wires attached to them and tubing and feeding them through feeding tubes. it takes a lot of getting used to but they were wonderful as far as their education and training to you as a parent of a child who has special needs. >> reporter: now they say it's unbelievable to look at these two healthy boys who needed extra help and care coming into the world. >> they are a blessing. it's shocking when you look at the pictures and how we were just doing that the other day. >> reporter: they say they will always be grateful to the people at nicu who helped their children and helped them. >> everything that they did to reassure you as a parent.

kidnapped her during an armed burglary. neighbors say the victim is smiling and just happy to be home. >> we are happy and glad she is home and god answered our prayers. >> there are questions about the family. court records show one of the suspects and the victim's mother were both arrested on drug charges on the same day in february of 2012. the charges were later dropped. >> the man who posted a youtube video with his dui confession filled his promise. the 22-year-old pleaded guilty to court after first giving a not guilty pleas. he hit and killed a 61-year-old while driving drunk, going the wrong way on the interstate. his lawyers say the confession was not intended to influence the case but they hope the judge will impose less than the maximum. >> we have confidence that the judge will impose a fair and appropriate sentence. >> what did matt say he want? >> a fair sentence and to

into tomorrow. right now, 76, lower 07's along 70. you go up toward northern carroll, also in to the low 70s. dew point trend at that comfortable level but as we go into tomorrow afternoon dew points start to spike and that will bring in creases as we get into saturday. talk about that in a second. the radar, clear overhead right now. we go out to the west. big storms firing up. take a look. this will march into chicago and these are the same storms that will be in here in to the day on saturday. right now high pressure still in control. that's going to set up a great day tomorrow. the first part of saturday looks good and then here comes the muggy air and also the precipitation. 70s across midatlantic. where is the heat. it's pushing 90, if not exceeding 90 as you get down toward texas and arkansas. some of it comes in as we go into the day tomorrow. high pressure will reign tomorrow. a mix of sun and clouds for the day. tomorrow afternoon and then most of the highs between 77 to i think in the city you will

time. years. it was only after i left my kindle on my flight that i thought about if someone got my phone. my texts and e-mails and photographs. that's to much information. the idea of pressing on the phone is still to much you could pass that. there is a simple pass code, that is a simpler way. you can go to get a full key pad. then you can type in thing you want and you could type one letter. not the most secure in the world but it's better than nothing. you can unlock with a safe unlock or a pattern unlock. they also allow third party apps to control security. one will take a picture or record sound of someone trying to unlock the phone and you can set it to announce to the world that your phone is stolen. apple's find my iphone and

. this weekend charm city is making waves to fight cancer. swim across america is back. >> wyatt will be out in the water this weekend. he is live, this cause is very important to a lot of people. >> reporter: absolutely. even if we haven't personally been touched by cancer we all know someone who has. it's all about fighting the good fight. with that, right here from baltimore i have an amazing story. this is karen. you are very healthy as we look at you but two years ago that was not the case >> in january of 2011, i was-ed wasdiagnosedded with cancer and leukemia and my doctor said you have a very aggressive disease which was very scary.

he also said so we will treat it aggressively. in order to treat it aggressively, i required a bone marrow transplant. >> reporter: yes and that put new to a long odd situation. like one in 450 odd thing. that was hard for you to probably hear but you were hopeful and i just have to advance the story because we don't have a lot of time. let's bring in lucas. he, what's your age? >> i'm 23. >> reporter: at the time you were 20. you were a donor right? >> yes. >> reporter: why are you here? >> i'm the donor for karen's cancer. this is -- she is the reason i'm here right now. happy to be here. >> he is the reason i'm mere right now. >> both of us. >> reporter: you just met an hour ago. >> yeah. i just got off the flight. i just met her for the first time. i'm happy to be here. >> reporter: talk about just briefly the bone marrow is 100%

>> you're watching the station that works for you. now, abc 2news at six. >> we begin with more on the news we told you about first on twitter. if you are a ravens orioles orphan you probably have seen this man out at the games and rallies, he is the baltimore bird man. >> he is also charged with sexually abusing a minor. we just spoke to police . >> reporter: disturbing story. a so-called super fan said he is devastated by this news today. the baltimore bird man now facing a charge of sexual abuse of a minor. baltimore county police say the victim is a member of his family. we do have some video of him from one of his events dressed as the bird man. this was back in december of 2011, one of the classic cars they would drive. he appeared at charity events

around the area. he worked for the baltimore county fire department. he retired as a captain back in 2008. county police say that last month a member of his family came forward and told detectives that he had sexually abused the victim adding that the abuse went on from 2005 up through 2008. we are told the victim is now older than 18. last flight he gave up to county baltimore police and is charged. they don't know if anymore victims and they say they don't have any evidence that his activities as bird man led to any other cases of abuse. >> this suspect told our detectives that he is known as the baltimore bird man. that fact incidental to this case. >> reporter: he posted $750,000 in bail and was released. we are continuing to follow the story and will have new details
