suspected drunk driver leafs police on a high speed chase in florida. prius hits a car and comes past the state troopers dash cam. it's driven by a 30-year-old sex offender. pulled over on suspicion of dui. he gave them a fake id, they asked him to get out of the car and he ran a red light and slammed in to the other

vehicle. good samaritans jumped in to action when a man fell off of a boston subway platform onto the tracks below. within 20 seconds, the subway heroes pulled the man to safety, taken to the hospital with a minor head jour. injury. . a dust storm closed a 14- mile section of a phoenix highway, several cars crashed because of the low visibility. i'm not going to say the weather term. no one was hurt. the road opened several hours later. very cool in phoenix. not talking about dust storms, a mixture of sunshine and clouds. kept temperatures down, at the airport 69. dew point at the comfortable range at 52. the easterly wind, marine layer with us, all afternoon today and going to be the same in to tomorrow.

backlash. medical emergency, a split second decision and a handful of passengers springing in to action. the scene played out from houston to seattle thursday night. the captain of flight, henry, suffered a heart attack, his co- pilot decided to make an emergency landing in ohio and called over the loud speaker asking if there was a doctor among the passengers. >> several people helped give him cpr all the way down. >> the entire thing lasted 15 minutes and it's the type of emergency that the flight crews are trying to handle. despite the quick thinking and team work, he died at the hospital. talking about efforts to end hunger in maryland, in the food bank reporting progress this year. there are 2500 fewer people who are food insecure compared to last year. the numb of people that earn too much money to qualify is also down, leaders at the food
