black guerrila gang pleaded guilty to his part in drug smuggling operation a correction officer who he was sexually involved admitted her role. according to the plea agreement steven loany joined the gang in 2011 for a time was the cell mate of the gang's leader tavon white. in total 25 people including 13 female correction officers were charged with racketeering, drug and money laundering. overtime is a huge cost for the baltimore police force with 25 million for the last fiscal year. but are all the extra shifts putting too much strain on the department? joce sterman wanted to find out. >> reporter: fee we found police officers making 40 -- we found police officers making 40, 60 and 100,000 dollars in overtime and putting in long hours doing the toughest job in the site. forget the millions spent experts say all that overtime puts people at risk. but why are city officers getting drafted for the extra shifts in the first place.

so that warm front did move through. we are waiting for the cold front to move through going towards the end of the weekend and all that is going to couple with the moisture coming from the remnants of karen. so let's talk about karen. tropical storm karen. winds sustained at 60 miles an hour moving to the northwest at 9 miles an hour. you can see it in the gulf of mexico and this is poised to move in and make landfall along the gulf coast as we head into saturday. so saturday morning afternoon evening but then look at the track from there. yes it takes it to the mid atlantic so we will be seeing much needed rain and it lock like a good chance of that because all the models are together and they are in agreement so we will get some rain from that cold front i showed you and also from the remnants of karen but that's not going to happen until the beginning of next week and in the meantime, abc2's most accurate future trend looks like we stay dry and that continues through saturday. and even sunday during the day. and than we start to see changesthings going downhill. 85 the temperature today.
