this time last week we were talking about and facebooking about a loss to the ravens. for awhile today it looked like we might be doing it again but the ravens started running the ball at least a little bit. ray rice with a touchdown. they tied in miami. but later with the ravens up by 7, watch this one. joe flacco drops back. he gets his hand on the ball, popping up in the air. that is a touchdown. they tied the game late in the 4th quarter. he hit that 44-yard field goal. he is clutch. he was four for four on the day. last chance for miami. they had a good chance set up by this. along pass down the sidelines which was completed. the ravens win by that 3-point

maryland's spotlight is all about maryland living. welcome to maryland spotlight. i'm kim knight. firefighters risk their lives everyday for us, but they also do a lot for the community. joining me in the studio today is dan. you're the anne arundel county professional firefighters welcome. >> good to be here. thanks for having us. >> the safe and healthy fair. tell me about that. >> this october 12th our second annual health and safety fair. this is a free event for anyone to come out to. we have a number of great offerings we'll have there. we're giving free drop in cpr classes so citizens can learn cpr and how to help us be a part of our team to help us save lives. we have anne arundel medical center. they will have blood donation

available so members of the public can give blood and help out in their own community. they will have free flu shots of the that is new this year. >> we had them last year so they are available on a limited basis so i encourage people to come early to get those if they are interested. there will be a number of screenings, blood pressure screenings and cancer screenings. we'll have a lot of venders there. the venders range from chiropractic to acupuncture to dental, and even some governmental services from the health department. >> that is really interesting. a wide variety of venders at the event too. >> absolutely. we have a good variety of venders. we hope to have a lot of citizens out there. a lot of people drop in. we'll have some free giveaways from the some of the venders, they offered some gifts and door prizes so we hope we have

a lot of people out there. >> you don't often see a firefighter wearing pink. tell me about your shirt. >> we do a lot of charitable group. we're a local organization of the international association of firefighters who does a lot of giving back to the communities. a lot of people have seen their md and one of the things we have been giving back to breast cancer awareness and research and survivors and patients so we have teamed up and we're giving again this year back. one of the things that we have chosen to do the last three years, we have these t-shirts you see me wearing and you'll see us wearing them through the month of october for our uniform. our members purchased these shirts out of their own pocket and it goes toward the donation we give. the donation all proceeds are going this year to the breast center at the cancer institute.

spotlight. i'm kim knight. you wake up in the morning aged look in the mirror and think not digging what i'm seeing. these days there are a lot of options to improve your face and here to talk about that is the doctor and cheryl, you're physician's assistant. thank you for being here. >> thank you. i don't like the look of my face. what are the options? >> you have four options. you can have surgery, injections, laser treatments or just good skin care. >> now cheryl, i have heard something about a liquid facelift. tell me what's that is. >> it is where you use injection toss help open up and lift some of the signs of aging that have happened over the years. >> tell me about some of the different liquids that -- fillers that you use when you're doing one? >> there are a lot of different types but a lot are pretty much the same. we use some of them in the

areas for fine lines and wrinkles. >> that comes with age as well. >> i know it does >> let me ask you how long do these last? >> fda approval says most last about a year. some patients get a little more time and some less but about a year. >> do people wait after a year or so and they say they want to come back and do it? >> most patients will come back for a touch up, maybe nine or ten months later to give them longer results. let's talk about lasers. >> lots of different lasers on the market. you know, what we're looking to do with laser is basically take away some of the aging process that happened either by the sun or natural gravity. we have light laser that will give you one day of down time. and some ten days of down time.
