some of the first stores opened but with the official open later today it signal a new era for shopping especially in this part of the city suburban convenience right in the city for many people well, they say that's about time. the 105 million dollar shopping canton crossing shopping center is the first development of its kind on this side of town. there will be 30 dfn shops and restaurants including anchor stores like target and old navy to him in a few and smaller local businesses. 2/3 of the businesses have opened up with the rest opening up in the next few weeks or so. the city and developers are hoping this center will help bridge the gap between the growth of neighborhoods and homes and quality shopping in the city. last week developers said the shopping center will create hundreds of jobs for city residents. >> once the job-- went to the be job fair and i was interviewed by three different people and hired on spot. they need a whole bunch of people at the store and i was

all right. let's talk about the weather this morning because it's much different from yesterday. remember how warm we were? wow, we are well below that this morning. we are talking about temperatur in the 40s. look what's going on in manchester. 48 degrees there. 47 in hickory and 50 in glen oak. arnold in 51 and more at 5 and 53 in easton. we should be around 49 for the low temperatures and we are seasonable this morning. satellite and radar not picking up on a whole lot in terms of the rain. the rain is off to the south. but we are having a battle of wills if you will because we have high pressure building in here from the north but we have a disturbance an area of low pressure coming in from the south. so with that, we hope that the high pressure will win as we go throughout the day. we know it's going keep us dry but in terms of plenty of sunshine well we will have a few cloud kicked in here as well but we will get some sunshine in. as we look at abc2's most accurate future trend this goes

[audio not understandable] we can see 28 in york and hagerstown at 18 and dc at 18 degrees as well. this is what we are working with this morning. it's 53 degrees right now in baltimore. but the temperatures are more seasonable. this is where we should be for this time of the year. feeling like fall and more like october. dew points yes look at this. 46 degrees. remember we were in the 60s and 70s yesterday. so much drier air is behind the cold front that pushed through yesterday. easton's temperature is coming in at 53.
