2:00 to 5 p.m. the threat for showers, a lot of it may not arrive until early afternoon, late afternoon, early evening we could be seeing showers and it could feature fairly wet weather, something we have to watch. let's take a look at annapolis with weather in motion. a few, few spots of blue sky breaking through but really cloudy skies. the story not gist here as we look east over the bay. cloudy skies come in nateing just about everywhere in the teat today. 66 with humidity high. dew point up at 61 right now. our sky shot, beautiful. there were some sunny peeks there this morning. if you have a great photo, you can go to abc2 weather. runners forecast tomorrow numbers in the low 70s, muggy,

not ideal running weather. an early morning run, you may find some upper 50s briefly. humidity on the moderate side. if you wait until tomorrow evening, rain possible for your run. 72 in easton. 70 in dulles, unseasonably warm and humid with the dew point above it, 60. chances for showers this evening out toward west virginia. with the frontal boundary arriving tomorrow, chances for rain go up anytime after 2:00, 3:00. western maryland getting most of the rain before 3:00 and the hit and miss basis. i don't expect heavy rain but hit and miss showers around 10:00. after 10 we push the whole wet weather maker out. the front comes through, clears the skies. should see decent sunshine. though, we could see another potential for rain by the tail

end. overall, the setup cloudy. your evening looks fine. we see the pressure sprinning north of michigan into central canada. that low pressure area drifting east tomorrow, dragging in the cool front. so the front sweeping south as we go into tomorrow evening. there will be showers fueled by the muggy air that's in place. the big picture basically is changing weather ahead. as we go into the weekend and early next week we're talking about low to mid-60s for highs in many cases. in fact, as we go into the afternoon low 70s. you see the cool air overspreading from west to east. by friday morning you'll be feeling the difference. humidity will be dropping. tonight down to 56. stays mild, 72 your two-degree guarantee. late day showers could linger into tomorrow evening but they'll taper off. the next several days featuring some improvement as we look to friday and saturday.

sometime as missed flight is out of your control and trying to re-book is impossible. conner has more on how to re- book. >> if your flight is significantly delayed or canceled, there's not much you can do about it unless you're an expert mechanic. you're stuck and chances are you are stuck in a long line of angry passengers all waiting to work to an everworked customer service agent so you can figure out an alternate way to your destination. here's the strategy i used. go ahead and stand in line but bust out your phone and call the airline. every time i've done this i've been labor to connect with a phone agent and get connected long before i reach the front of the line. surprisingly, no one in line

was doing it. not only does it save time, it might save your trip. the line of passengers is competing for the same seats. if you've got a smartphone look up the alternate routes. agents are busy and may not search out the most creative or comfortable flight. so know if there are earlier connections. give those options to the agent, making their life easier. if you're stuck on hold i would consider heading into the airline lounge. the customer service in the lounge can re-book you. some of the best the airline has to offer. it will give you more personalized service. if you've got a family of four, sending in one person to change everyone's ticket could easily be worth it. really, if it's just you the cost might be worth. it you'll get re-booked faster. you might have free lounge

brother, jesse bowen of havre de grace tried to carjack vi ripken on tuesday afternoon. >> he was supposed to come down here last night. then he never showed up. jean called us and said he was in jail. she told me police came to the door last night and said jesse tried robbing cal ripken's mom. i'm like really? because we don't even have cable here. >> reporter: the matriarch of the family apparently scared away the robber, pressing the key to be, setting off the car alarm. >> someone tried to carjack her, take her car. i read that online and i thought oh, my god, that's my bank. >> reporter: many believe she would be targeted for a second robbery in as many years. >> i was a little afraid to come today. but the police station is right around the corner.

here as long as it takes. this contract offer from the steamship trade association of baltimore was rejected by the international long shore men's last night? the meantime all six of the public marine terminals are shut down. that means big screen tv's, cars, heavy machinery will not be coming in. the maryland port administration said the port of baltimore has a $3.5 billion yearly impact. >> we've broken cargo records. we've reached number one rankings in several cargoes and probably above everything else, we're one of the state's top economic engines. so when the port doesn't work as its did not today, knob wins. >> we've been talking about what's impacted but there are
