about 11:00 last night. the vehicle also had temporary license plates and ended up halfway inside the vacant dunkin' donuts. the driver ran off. police have not been able to track him down. the hospital. their injuries are not considered life threatening. neighbors say it was a wild scene. >> this doesn't make sense. i mean just to ram into a dunkin' donuts like that. i'm not sure what's going on. that's pretty bad. it is going to be people sitting there right now. sean: you can see the tarp is up where the car was inside the building. there's still some glass around in front as well. so far police have not released a description of the driver nor said what charges they might face. live in manchester, wmur news 9. sean: thanks. a pelham man faces charges after he fired several shots inside the apartment.

saturday night, they say 67-year-old mark schlagel was sitting in the chair naked, holding for them. he claimed that four people tried to break into his apartment by cutting a hole through his closet. there's no evidence of any break in or anyone else was ever there. >> he was just shooting everywhere. lord knows the bullets could have went through my floor at my son, hit my husband, hit me. sean: police say they found four pistols, two rifles, a shotgun, 200 magazines, and 10,000 rounds of am knew -- ammunition. no one was hurt in the shooting. schlagel is due in court next month. south carolina has some areas that have picked up two feet of rain since friday. and roads are under water. the governor says it is years. more rain is coming with more flash flood warnings in place.

assess the damage caused by joaquin. hundreds of homes have been damaged or destroyed. there's severe flooding. the damage is described as major devastation on a section called long island there. three people were hospitalized with mild hypothermia after their boat started taking on water in lowell, massachusetts yesterday. the high school girls were taking part in the textile river regatta when high winds blew water into the boats and made rowing nearly gobble. two different teams ended up in the water minutes apart, sending a total of 14 girls into the water. the race, which is the second largest in new england, was canceled midway through the day. walgreens is teams up with the hospital to make narcan more available. the hospital will release more details later today. the doctors at frisbee will be able to fill standing orders at the walgreens in town.

were acquaintances. a concerning situation will be discussed at a public forum in wakefield tonight. students recently discovered syringes on the school grounds. since then, staff members have been sweeping the parking loath and checking the playgrounds. they sent a letter home to parent inviting them to discuss the problem. the forum starts at 6:30 tonight. authorities put their skills to the test during an active shooter training exercise in goffstown. the drill took place yesterday at goffstown high school. in the training session, two shooters were found and taken into custody. patients were treated. officers evacuated the school and searched people for weapons. >> as you all know, these kinds of situations give us the opportunity to look at what might have been done better, differently, what might be more effective in the future, and this is where you want to do those things. where the risk is low.
